acooling08 Posted 16 April 2012 Author Posted 16 April 2012 theres always enquiries into horse racing, the national has been altered numerous times, rules also. Are you vegan ? dont wear leather ? use animal tested products ? etc I eat meat and take medicines that were probably tested on animals. There is a difference between slaughtering an animal for food, and forcing them to run and jump for however many miles it is whilst whipping them and pushing them to the edge of collapse. I love steak, but am greatly opposed to bullfighting. It's just different...
m00nie Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Donkeys have been bred over centuries to carry ugly, fat children (covered in ice cream) around a beach - it's what they live to do. The expression is the donkey's natural demeanour - you've should see how pissed off they look when placed in a field. were supposed to give our children ice cream AND a donkey ride.. i always told mine its one or the other.. cheap skate chav me
Daggers Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Tell you what though - birds with decent legs and arses should be made to wear riding kit by law.

21st Century Fox Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 I think they should ban donkey rides on Blackpool beach too . I walked past them lined up the other day and every one of them looked thouroughly pissed off They sound like scabs, were they wearing the union required Kiss Me straw hats?
Mack Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 This question has not been asked in the right way. It should say should the horse races that endanger the lives of jockey's and horses be banned. The answer to that is a resounding yes.
Zingari Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 They sound like scabs, were they wearing the union required Kiss Me straw hats? Actually i think i'm mistaken about the whole incident , i don't think they were donkeys , as i've just got my holiday snaps out and i remembered they were a family of Welsh people
acooling08 Posted 16 April 2012 Author Posted 16 April 2012 how is there a difference?? you eat meat because you enjoy it.. your not thinking of the animals well being then are you.. Farm animals are looked after and killed instantly so they don't suffer. Eating meat is a natural thing for many animals and is important for a healthy diet in humans. Especially for me considering I am allergic to nuts which are the biggest alternative to meat for protein. Race horses are put through exhausting and potentially lethal races just for human enjoyment, is certainly isn't natural or essential to a happy life. It's hard to explain properly but that's just my opinion.
21st Century Fox Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Tell you what though - birds with decent legs and arses should be made to wear riding kit by law. I live pretty much in the countryside and worked in John Lewis whilst at Uni and I have never seen a woman wear riding breeches that didn't look like a water bed had been stuffed down the back of them. Actually i think i'm mistaken about the whole incident , i don't think they were donkeys , as i've just got my holiday snaps out and i remembered they were a family of Welsh people lol

It should say should the horse races that endanger the lives of jockey's and horses be banned. The answer to that is a resounding yes. Jockies chose to race, the horses have no say in the matter. That's my main point. Imagine if we rounded up a load of slaves from Africa and forced them to race! Imagine the outcry! Horses aren't as important as human lives but they have emotions, they feel pain! Mock me all you want but it's true.
Daggers Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Imagine if we rounded up a load of slaves from Africa and forced them to race! I can - and it'd be a fvck sight more interesting than synchronised swimming. You ought to write to the Olympic board to see if that can be included in 2016...
ozleicester Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Cruelty to animals is not sport, Ban Horse racing, just bet on people, breed them, train them, make the run and jump at our beck and call... oh wait.. thats the olympics, so lets just cancel the horses
21st Century Fox Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 They need to do a Back To The Floor episode where the fat horse owners have to scamper around a track with a midget on their back. Now thats television.
purpleronnie Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 John McCririck should be banned. I still don't know how he gets away with calling his co-presenter 'female'. You'd think the PC police would have stopped that.
Daggers Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 I live pretty much in the countryside and worked in John Lewis whilst at Uni and I have never seen a woman wear riding breeches that didn't look like a water bed had been stuffed down the back of them. I had a friend who was a girl who worked in stables. Her and every single one of her friends were as fit as fvck - it was like a kinky horse-based wonderland. I just need to hear the word 'jodhpurs' and I get the horn.
leicester4life Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 John McCririck should be permanently on Loose Women. And every girl I know who rides horses has cracking arse. Couldn't really give a **** about racing them, boring as sin.
The Doctor Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 Ban the use of real horses, race the royals instead.
davieG Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 We should just allow miniature horse racing with kids so that we balance out the risk of killing horses with humans losing their children. A fair exchange of risk between animal and man.
hbkkids Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 What would you prefer.... Horses to die needlessly and you get a little money in your pocket or for them to be fine and well and you ain't got no money. Money don't make the world go round
Libertine Dream Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 What would you prefer.... Horses to die needlessly and you get a little money in your pocket or for them to be fine and well and you ain't got no money. Money don't make the world go round They are bred to race, thats what they're there for. Without racing most wouldn't be alive in the first place. Shire horses are no longer needed and so numbers are dwindling, the same would happen to racehorses
