fleckneymike Posted 23 April 2012 Posted 23 April 2012 Pearson is out of his depth and should be out of the door.
Webbo Posted 23 April 2012 Posted 23 April 2012 Great just watched that shit and now we;ve got to read all the miserable twats saying I told you so. **** off.
shen Posted 23 April 2012 Posted 23 April 2012 Pearson is out of his depth and should be out of the door. At this stage of the season, points are only cosmetic. Our season ended at the New Den.
fleckneymike Posted 23 April 2012 Author Posted 23 April 2012 At this stage of the season, points are only cosmetic. Our season ended at the New Den. I do wish the club had officially announced that after the Millwall game, would have saved me an awful lot of bother. Still, always next season to look forward to with an 8% increase to pay for a decrease in performance.
Master Fox Posted 23 April 2012 Posted 23 April 2012 Here's a bit of advice: Don't bother with next season.
fleckneymike Posted 23 April 2012 Author Posted 23 April 2012 Here's a bit of advice: Don't bother with next season. Well most of the players have adopted that attitude this season. Thoroughly enjoyed watching them aimlessly hoof it about like a beach ball on a windy beach at Peterborough, followed by their terribly polite approach to playing Millwall. Can't wait to see how they contrive to lose to Leeds.
Vardinhio Posted 23 April 2012 Posted 23 April 2012 Why do you presume our players don't care? Why can't it be that they were just beaten by a better side and we were tactically outplayed. We are Leicester City, a 2-1 home defeat to West Ham is hardly the worst result we've ever had. We havn't been good enough all season but knee jerk reactions after every defeat are making this board get worse and worse and worse....

Hardly a knee jerk reaction when all our complaints about the performances have been the same for a prolonged period of time.

Because I know, from watching it, that there was more to it than that. I can see with my eyes that they weren't trying their best.
fleckneymike Posted 23 April 2012 Author Posted 23 April 2012 Beautiful. It was indeed. My mistake when dealing with mass and count nouns has seriously undermined my dissatisfaction with the number of points we have accumulated. However as the predilection for using fewer in connection with count nouns is a relatively recent phenomenon I'm not too disheartened.

Still, always next season to look forward to with an 8% increase to pay for a decrease in performance. 8%... That sounds exactly like the 8% interest rate the Thai's are charging the club for their investment & the money spunked up the wall in the summer Hardly a knee jerk reaction to 30+ games under Pearson. Hardly a knee jerk reaction when all our complaints about the performances have been the same for a prolonged period of time. In the games leading up to & including Hull at home when we were on a good run, did you come on here & say that? what happened since then? Danns fecking stupid suspension & Wellens injury upset the apple-cart which probably lead to the home Forest draw & the sunker-punch away defeat at P'boro Realistically it was over then & juggling the deckchairs on the titanic in the middle of the park hasn't arrested our decline What was unacceptable was the fact half our players rolled over died tonight Beckford played with some pride as did Morgan & Marshall ........but Nugent, Drinky, Konch & especially Peltier were absolutely fecking disgraceful

Do you really want to see ANOTHER manager come in and try to build a team? At least NP is trying to bring young enthusiastic players in that can improve the team. If we bring yet another manager in we become even more of a joke..... Also, I like Nige

Also, I like Nige Yes I do want another manager, I didn't want Nigel back as I dont and didn't enjoy the way he sets his teams up to 'play'. I don't want enthusiasm, Trevor Benjamin was enthusiastic and young but sadly he was also shite. Running around a lot chasing the ball indicates that you haven't got the ball because some goon has instructed your centre backs to hoof it forwards. All I want from my club is to try and play football properly, if we win some games along the way all the better. I don't like spending £500+ on home matches to see the ball in the air and lots of blokes running around trying to get back the ball they have just so needlessly surrendered.

Guest shearfox Posted 23 April 2012 Posted 23 April 2012 Stick with Nigel, he will get us up. His had to take on a team of players that don't want to be here. We need stability for once changing the manager hasn't worked for ten years...

Danny the Fox 95 Posted 23 April 2012 Posted 23 April 2012 Nigel won't get us up. I went to sleep watching. Had to be woken up at the end due to how bad we were, and how bad the atmosphere was

I disagree wholeheartedly with you, but please tell me who could do a better job than pearson right now that would want the job and not just come here for the money? Anyone better would see that we have sacked 2 good managers in 6 months. If that doesn't put them off, I'm sure the positive nature of the fans after a few losses will make sure that they are driving as far away from the king power as possible!

Happy Fox Posted 23 April 2012 Posted 23 April 2012 NP isn't really giving the owners the incentive to keep him on. The players looked lost and bewildered only Beckford and Morgan come out that game with any credit imo. Whoever is manager at the helm whether that is NP or someone else it is a massive job, what I saw tonight was a lack of creativity from the centre and the wing positions, this needs to be rectified ,some players aren't up for the job.
