yeah i can agree in someways, it wasn't a bad episode but maybe a little anti-climatic for the 50th anniversary. It's was great to see a familiar face at the ending, just a shame a few more didn't show up. Apart from a few cliches that was probably my favourite Matt Smith episode, so the next one the final one for him. A shame as I've warmed to him recently, on the next guy i'm gotta to admit i'm not sure it's going to work, something tells me the next doctor will be a short reign.

Just finished on Channel 4, but still on 4od I believe.  Utterly ridiculous.  I think I'll be haunted by the image of the Nigerian Ambassador's daughter, made to look exactly like late 1970s Bruce Forsyth by a vengeful plastic surgeon, for the rest of my days.

Watched two episodes of Band of Brothers 7/8 I think. The war was nearing the end. Next week they see the concentration camps. Looks like fun.

Band of Brothers is the best tv show ever. If you get a chance to see them all you definately should. The jump onto Normandy is perhaps the best bit of tv/film I've ever seen, better than saving private ryan.

Saw a box set in the Oxfam shop in town 9.99. It was on TCM lat night. Never noticed it on before. Been without a TV for about 3 weeks though and was at my sisters last week so two episodes at a time its about right. Suppose it'll be on again.

Just started on Dexter... well I say just started I've just finished season four after about a week!.

 

Found the last episode pretty shocking actually with

Rita being killed by Trinity.

 

I knew there would be a twist as it was becoming to predictable, good guy always wins etc. But that was rather brutal!

Season 4 is by far the best season of Dexter, it slowly goes down hill in my opinion from there. Season 5 is ok though.

I normally don't watch the big American shows because I can never be arsed to keep up with them but I've just started on Arrested Development and think its brilliant! Plus the episodes are quite short so I can just dip in and out as and when!
