sphericalfox Posted 5 June 2012 Share Posted 5 June 2012 Had a quick look and couldn't find a soundtrack thread, so here we go. I was discussing how Prometheus was partially ruined by its dreadful musical soundtrack, so I went back to listen to the original Alien soundtrack and its sequel Aliens and both are superb to listen to from beginning to end. I really think its an art, and good movies have good OSTs. I have loads of favorites. What are yours? Anything obscure and not John Williams? These for starters - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGc39mNpyZY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0IktBVxUTQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIvLjnAVbac

Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 July 2012 Share Posted 19 July 2012 When it come to soundtracks Morricone is a master. And whilst we're on harmonicas... This is also a bit of class - really makes for the tension in the film! Just listening to it makes me want to watch the film. http://youtu.be/SZCVFtcfKwQ And the way this builds is fantastic. http://youtu.be/KSYYEDXaGo0
