Poznan34 Posted 11 February 2013 Posted 11 February 2013 It is a bit of a blind-spot from the FA. Surely they will introduce a maximum now? 4/5 would be about right.
BHAFC Braders Posted 11 February 2013 Posted 11 February 2013 Haha , pleasure to be of service - hopefully you guys will be pretty much certain to be up by the time we meet you down here. Good result despite a mediocre performance - I'll take that , got Blackburn tomorrow night so could briefly be in the play offs/ have Blackburn jump above us / bottle it completely.
Super_horns Posted 11 February 2013 Posted 11 February 2013 Enjoy your success while it lasts though because the next logical step in the strategy as far as I can see would be to sell off the promoted club at a considerable profit, buy another bargain basement Championship club and repeat the whole thing. It's actually quite clever, I'm surprised more don't do it. That's not what the Pozzos have done in the past though..they still run Udinese having brought Granada. However seeing as we only use 4/5 of the "loans" on a regular basis I do agree having so many is pointless and probably just came because Zola didn't know much about our own players at the time. None are "world class" as Holloway suggested. Vydra will probably be sold on but hopefully we'll manage to sign Abdi for one on a pernament contract. Chalobah from Chelsea has probably been the best of the loan players we've got ironically enough!

True but there aren't the potentially vast short-term gains in the Udinese case like there is in yours and other Championship clubs. Holloway is a bitter idiot just trying to deflect attention away from the fact that Palace have only won twice in the last ten games. I'm sure we can agree on that.
Danizen Posted 11 February 2013 Posted 11 February 2013 A few years down the line, say Watford meet Udinese in the Europa League (stop laughing, it could happen), would UEFA step in to make sure there was no dodginess? There'd be a clear conflict of interest.
Father Ted Posted 11 February 2013 Posted 11 February 2013 I really did cringe when I seen Holloway's interview about Watford Maybe if his head wasn't so far up Zaha's arse he might have realised before Friday night that Watford had loaned a boat full of players from Udinese. Definition of a bellend.

I know we cannot trust people in football too much but it did sound like they were hear for the long term.. Have to see...
Lamby Posted 11 February 2013 Posted 11 February 2013 Just ordered my ticket for Hull on saturday, £15, bargain

Lamby Posted 12 February 2013 Posted 12 February 2013 Since when have Blackburn been 8th in the table?
Uncle Phil Posted 12 February 2013 Posted 12 February 2013 Since when have Blackburn been 8th in the table? They're not, 7th apparently.
Fox92 Posted 12 February 2013 Posted 12 February 2013 Since when have Blackburn been 8th in the table? Just about to post the same thing, they are 7th according to when I've just looked. Thought they were about 16th! Anyway, could do with a Derby win tonight.
acooling08 Posted 12 February 2013 Posted 12 February 2013 Hull and Boro won. Fvcking horrible night.
Fox92 Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Woke up and I had recieved a text message from my mate who supports Hull. Picture of the league table Bad night with Hull and Middlesbrough winning, but I couldn't see any different prior to kick off really.
Lamby Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Nice shiny Hull ticket in my wallet, hopefully we'll win to make it better, at least I can get dinner in the Spoons by the station before I get back to London this time.

BHAFC Braders Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 65% posession , 17 shots on target , their keeper was pony last night and the only goal we get is a penalty. They were dire (scored a good goal mind) but we STILL are finding it hard to remain consistently ruthless
Lamby Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Will be cheering your boys on and hoping you at least make a draw. Hopefully a draw, we've been decent on the road (W6 D4 L5)
marko Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Hopefully a draw, we've been decent on the road (W6 D4 L5) Not a win?
Lamby Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Not a win? With our dire finishing we'll be lucky to score a single one
marko Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 With our dire finishing we'll be lucky to score a single one Sorry, I forgot Yann signed for you.
