Fox92 Posted 21 October 2012 Posted 21 October 2012 Anybody but Sheffield Wednesday. Couldn't handle that, don't like them.
foxfanazer Posted 21 October 2012 Posted 21 October 2012 Huddersfield, charlton (because of powell) and Watford
Corky Posted 21 October 2012 Posted 21 October 2012 Generally prefer Sheffield Wednesday, Palace, Leeds, Huddersfield, Wolves other than us. Leeds only on the basis that they should be in and like the previous poster I don't like them. Forest even going up with us so we can have a derby in the Premier League again. Big no-nos are Cardiff, Peterborough and Blackburn (just don't like them at the minute). Why?
Fox92 Posted 23 October 2012 Posted 23 October 2012 Great win for Derby, surely Jewell is on his way out now?
StanSP Posted 23 October 2012 Posted 23 October 2012 Apparantly he was I was joking/mocking you. Like fvck I'd listen to Leeds vs Charlton.
Libertine Dream Posted 23 October 2012 Posted 23 October 2012 Good point that A couple of Leeds fans saying you deserved to win, no doubt the ref scored their goal for them
Lamby Posted 23 October 2012 Posted 23 October 2012 A couple of Leeds fans saying you deserved to win, no doubt the ref scored their goal for them We should have won that, had 2 efforts at the end of the game that somehow Paddy Kenny got to
AKCJ Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Anyone seen George Boyd's goal? Shades of Matty Taylor's for Portsmouth...
StanSP Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Huddersfield love to concede some screamers don't they?!
Guest ttfn Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Charlie Austin has 15 league goals now. When was the last time somebody did that before the end of October?!
MC Prussian Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Charlie Austin has 15 league goals now. When was the last time somebody did that before the end of October?! That is pretty impressive. He's actually on course to break the Championship record for most goals in one season (24 for Nathan Ellington in 2004/05) by the end of November if he continues at this rate... What's the stats for the old Second Division, the predecessor? I can't find it right now. Austin would certainly deserve it (bear in mind that he can score as much as he wants, just not against us ).
Bugg Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Svetoslav Todorov scored 26 goals 2002/03 when it was the First Division. I doubt that's the record though.
Fox92 Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Charlie Austin has 15 league goals now. When was the last time somebody did that before the end of October?! Always liked Charlie Austin, ever since I first saw him play for Swindon... I can remember mentioning on here that we should buy him (when he was at Swindon) and it was laughed off by some posters. Think he is a great striker, the type that can probably score at any level. I know a Burnley fan and he is always banging on about if they didn't have him, etc.
Corky Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Charlie Austin has 15 league goals now. When was the last time somebody did that before the end of October?! Shaun Goater did something similar for Man City in 2001/02.
ScouseFox Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Dave Jones can't be around much longer, surely?
ADK Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 I think he's a good manager though. I know its a results game and all that but sometimes think clubs need to give time.
Corky Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 I think he's a good manager though. I know its a results game and all that but sometimes think clubs need to give time. Er.... is the chairman.
ScouseFox Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 Good manager or not something isn't right up there. They have/had everything set up nicely to do a Southampton/Norwich/Us and use big crowds with a feel good factor and winning mentality to ride a wave and do well in this league. They then went and made a lot of what seemed to be very good signings for this league. That lad from Barca, Jay Bothroyd, Barkley from Everton to name just a few. But they can't win for shit and look a lot more likely to go down than up. And from the small amount I've seen of them and the bits I've heard they aren't exactly playing well and losing, or "not quite clicking", they just seem to be pretty poor, at the moment.
Happy Fox Posted 24 October 2012 Posted 24 October 2012 They have Mattock and Kirkland what do they expect really?
