Fox92 Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 I'm currently waiting to start my ATC training, passed everything but waiting for them to put me on a course. Well done, hope you can undertake it. Is the final course at/near Bournemouth International Airport?
Guest Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Frog expert (I liked frogs). No idea what it pays or how you go about getting the job. In the end I had to settle for toad expert, never been happy. Crap.....aud ?
Leicesterpool Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 I always wanted to be a copper, imagine myself like Smithy from The Bill.
foxfanazer Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 I always wanted to be a copper, imagine myself like Smithy from The Bill. I wanted to be more like Slater from fools and horses
Zingari Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Frog expert (I liked frogs). No idea what it pays or how you go about getting the job. In the end I had to settle for toad expert, never been happy. Being a toad expert sounds riveting
Rincewind Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 With a frog expert though there would not be so many books you would have to study. All day you would be going 'Readit, readit, readit...'
Christoph Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 From when I was young young I wanted to be a game reviewer for a site like IGN etc. Got to about 14 and realised I wanted to be a teacher instead. Currently just graduated and working as an unqualified teacher at a school.
blueblood88 Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 I wanted to be a lorry driver, mainly because my dad was/is, and am currently a lorry driver! Best job I've had was driving down to Valencia last June delivering shopfitting compartments for a sports convention! Spent a week down there with 3 other lads on the firm, top class week.
Rincewind Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 A spy for U.N.C.L.E Even applied to be an agent. Was sent a card. But I only got to be something like a number 6 administration or something.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 My mother used to like frequently reminding me that, as a small child, I always wanted to be either an archaeologist or a lorry driver for Kwik Save. Seriously. Finners? I loved Animal Magic and watching Johnny Morris made me want to be a Zoo Keeper, but as I got older I increasingly realised there were no talking lemurs, you're not allowed to take tigers home with you and it mostly involved shovelling crap.
Libertine Dream Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Well done, hope you can undertake it. Is the final course at/near Bournemouth International Airport? It used to be but they've recently built a new one near the Swanwick control centre.
The Doctor Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Mad Scientist. I'm not doing too bad at achieving that goal, although at the moment I'm swinging between being a forensic investigator, a toxicologist or bog standard drugs development.
Leicfox Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 I wanted to be everything Matthew Fialka dreamed about being.
sphericalfox Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 I always wanted to be a stunt man. Indiana Jones films inspired me. Used to do some stupid things at a very young age, but never got around to setting myself on fire. More Jackie Chan type stuff. Bit late for me now and too many injuries and a rather sad case of malaise and lack of fitness would never see me jumping from one moving car to the next.
Fox92 Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Bus driver. Used to love buses when I was little. I still love buses.

sphericalfox Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Not even after a few shandies? Like this crazy bastard in his slippers?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 July 2012 Posted 13 July 2012 Midfield schemer for Leicester City. Or diamond miner.
