Fox92 Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Taft is one of the biggest cvnts at the club. I know a couple of players and they say he has got a real attitude problem and thinks he's much better than he really is. A lad who lives on my street played with Taft at Derby. I mean, I don't know Taft personally, but he hasn't sounded like a ****. If he has got an attitude problem though, it don't sound good. Forest in talks with Daniel Ayala from Norwich. I don't rate him either.
Dan Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 £200k I'll trust NP with it again - he had Gerrard at Hull don't forget. I wouldn't be against us signing another centre half, with SSL possibly out for a while, Whitbread inevitably injured at some point, it's probably not a bad idea.
kingfox Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Jason Bourneâ€@JasonBourne1986 @mattdhemsley injured? not sure how bad he is after Wednesday. Will ask tomorrow, although, Ian's been saying he might leave the club. That is on St Ledger. Might leave the club?
Mark_w Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Might leave the club? Obviously didn't want to be back-up in January, now we've got two very good defenders at this level in Morgan and Whitbread, he probably wants off and we can use that to fund the Gerrard deal, don't see the problem.
Babylon Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Obviously didn't want to be back-up in January, now we've got two very good defenders at this level in Morgan and Whitbread, he probably wants off and we can use that to fund the Gerrard deal, don't see the problem. The problem is he's another one of the average players we have, that for some reason some people think is amazing.
ian the fox Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 lets get bamba back ............he was world class ..............

He is our best defender and is certainly not average. He was our most improved player at the back end of last season. If it wasn't for him and Kasper we would of lost a lot more games especially at home.
Mark_w Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 He is our best defender and is certainly not average. Nah don't be a fool, De Laet is much, much better.
kingfox Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Nah don't be a fool, De Laet is much, much better. I like it. I rate St Ledger, some people think he is our best defender and I am one of them, while some people think he is average. He has much better qualities than our other defenders, at least he can pass a ball out of defence instead of hoofing it, he has got a lot more calmer in his play and some of his blocks last season were absolutely crucial. If he didn't block some shots against West Ham at home, we would of got absolutely thrashed by about 4-1.
okie fox Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Forest in talks with Daniel Ayala from Norwich. Surprised Pearson hasn't gone for him as I remember reading he rated him quite highly when he had him on loan at Hull. Ayala is a lot better than Gerrard.

He has always been a technical defender; the ability to bring the ball out of defence.
EnderbyFox Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 City defender Sean St. Ledger out for six to eight weeks with a knee injury. More to follow... http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2870635,00.html
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Hmm mm not so sure at gerard he was bad last season but everyone can't be good every season except messi, ronaldo, What about this maguire kid my Mayes who are sheff utd fans go crazy about him saying he's amazing worth a punt surely
Happy Fox Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Maguire would command a fee of £1m + , if we are getting a fourth choice CB someone on the cheap may be better or a loanee for a couple of months.
Brenfox Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Very surprised we didn't go in for Alex Bruce on a free
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Kyle Bartley on loan would do the trick imo. Good shout, heard that we were in for him anyway is he from arsenal, I think it's gone dry thou
Leicester_Numan Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 200k for a cover CB is not bad.BUT more important does anyone know how long SSL is out for? 6-8 weeks. Just been on twitter
bmt Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Very surprised we didn't go in for Alex Bruce on a free He's awful...
leicesterisme Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Kyle Bartley on loan would do the trick imo. An absolute bellend and is very average.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 I trust NP he had Gerrard at Hull with him and Gerrard played quite well to what I remember, personally would prefer Craig Dawson from WBA but there won't be many cheaper than Gerrard at this moment in time!

Bluearmyfox28 Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 great shout with Dawson but think he will move on a perm before window closes! Carnt see WBA wanting more than 2m for him we should take a punt on him in my eyes?
Schlupp Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 The only 'positive' from the Sousa era He also signed Waghorn.
