FFS, how many more times does this have to be explained.....

Cup games were NOT free. They were part of the ST package, hence them being used as credits to your ST if we did not play any, or all of the three home fixtures. One season at Filbo, I had a huge discount on my ST as we didn't have a single home game.

The club did away with including Cup tickets after the last time we had a Cup game included (by this point, the Club had gone from three to one Cup ticket), which was Crewe. The Club apparently made a loss on this fixture, as all STHs have to be included in the attendance, but not all STHs attended.

Further, fans were disgruntled they couldn't pick and choose which Cup games they used the ticket for, saying they didn't see why they should waste their ticket on a home game against a piddling little side in the early stages of the Cup, thus demonstrating including Cup tickets in the ST package is a compete waste of time.

Sorry Lisa, part of the package, not free.

Thank you.

Now if you can remember this the next time someone mentions free Cup tickets, I would appreciate it very much!

I rather us play Torquay on the Saturday give us a week to prepare for Peterborough, unless we are playing the fringe players against Torquay?

think you may find the club dropped the system after it meant season ticket holders got our 1 european game in the package as it only stated 1st 3 home cup ties. meaning they lost the chance to fill filbert st with people paying £30 quid. instead they had to honour 14k plus vouchers.

I've currently got 4 tickets and my daughter who is away at university is coming back at the weekend and wants to go too so I need to exchange the tickets so we can sit together. I rang the ticket office today to ask about this and they said bring the tickets on Saturday and they will exchange them then. My point being, they have tickets available on Saturday for us to exchange so surely they have tickets to sell.

I'm actually looking forwards to this game. I'm going to be basting in my own juices in Turkey the Saturday after so it's a chance to see how the team is shaping up and have a look at the new players.

Bit disappointed about the low attendance but it's a chance to see Leicester play innit?

Got my tickets this morning, it could well be boring but it's something to do and a chance to see the new team.

Least it's not £30 quid so god knows why some are moaning, £12 is nothing, it would cost more to do a weekly shop at the Co-Op.

I think you may find our last European game was played at Filbert St, and the Crewe game I referred to was played at the then Walkers Stadium.

I would be interested to know how a scheme can be dropped retrospectively. Awaiting your answer.

I'm going, looking forward to it.

With the weather being nice, I'm hoping they trial out a drink I've suggested to Top... Bovril Slush Puppy.

Yum, brain freeze and BSE in one mouthful!! lol

It'll be lovely, it's football and summer-time mixed together in one bizarre drink! I imagine it'd taste something like "blue ice" - look it up

Looked up and duly disgusted.

Just looked it up and found this,

A rare incident of falling blue ice causing damage to the roof of a home was reported on October 20, 2006 in Chino, California.[2] A similar incident was reported in Leicester, UK, in 2007.[3]

Was that anyone on here?

Still waiting for an answer.

If you want any clues, then this might help.
