lets not pretend sunderland is a 'glamour' friendly despite what the shiny silver burtons suit wearing p.r brigade want us to believe.

don't get me wrong, i like em but its still sunderland. roker park, don goodman, second fiddle to newcastle, marco gabbiadini etc etc

Anybody know if, or how many tickets are left for tomorrow? Gonna ring in the morning, but would be interested if someone knew how many we had sold!

I will eat my own face if it's sold out by tomorrow morning.

If it's not on foxes player, then you might be able to listen to it through the radio leicester website.

A mates got my ticket i think its going to be a cracking day, nice weather, new players on show and will definately get me right excited for the season

If you want any clues, then this might help.

think you have answered your own question if they dropped the games from 3 to 1 that would have avoided having to allow season ticket holders in to a decent game such as happened in europe for no extra admission charge.

isnt that dropping/changing the system after realising tje ****ed up big time and cost themselves a small fortune.

You've changed the answer.

For the record, we had the first three cup tickets included in the season ticket until the 2000-2001 season, where the only Cup ticket included was for the first UEFA cup tie. It's in clause 11 of the terms and conditions for that season's STs, and is very specific.

So, you're wrong again.

i dont keep records of the terms and conditions from 20 years of seasons tickets. but i stand by the fact the club realised they had ****ed up when we got the european tie as one of the games not the likes of northampton or exeter in a fizzy pop or beer tie and thats when they looked at changing it.

when my life has time i will research the club agm minutes from the mon era.

what a quality retort. as i've said i'll look into the agm minutes as i'm pretty sure the mercury reported the directors being unhappy at missing out on a nice payday for the club. hence why in latter years it got reduced and eventually scrapped.

oh and on your original point although you don't see them as being free. a lot of people did as it was a benefit of a season ticket holder. there was no option to hold a season ticket but pay a reduced price for not including those vouchers afterall. so you may choose to accept they are part of the total package but peoples perception maybe different.
