hbkkids Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Here is mine.... Schmeichel De Laet - Morgan - Moore - Konchesky Marshall - Drinkwater - James - Knockert Beckford - Vardy Also my prediction is 3-0 win! Marshall, Beckford, Nugent (sub)
dpjfox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 agree with that (hopefully Moore is ok and id put a defender on the bench this time, if we have any)
glenny_fox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I'd go with the majority of that, although maybe a bit unfair to drop dyer after knockaert has played 45 minutes.
dobbylcfc Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Schmeichel De Laet - Morgan - Moore - Konchesky Marshall - Drinkwater - James - Dyer Beckford - Vardy Logan,Parkes??,King,Danns,Knockert,Schlupp, Nugent (subs) City to win 3-1 win
Mark_w Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Moore Konchesky Marshall Drinkwater James Dyer Beckford Vardy Logan, Whitbread, King, Danns, Knockaert, Nugent, Waghorn.
EnderbyFox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Kasper De Laet Moore Morgan Koncheskey Marshall Danns Drinkwater Dyer Beckford Vardy Subs: Logan, Whitbread, James, King, Nugent, Knockaert, Futacs
foxesfan1989 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I would pick Kasper De Laet Morgan Moore Konch Marshall Danns Drinkwater Knockaert Vardy Nugent Subs: Logan, King, Gally, James, Dyer, Beckford, Waghorn Tough tough choices though.
Babylon Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Same team. Can't see Knocky starting having been away most of the week and with Dyer on good form.
Happy Fox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Kasper Da Laet Moore Morgan Konchesky Marshall Drinkwater James Knockaert Vardy Beckford Subs: Nugent, Danns, Whitbread, Schlupp, Dyer, Logan and Waghorn.
foxesfan1989 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Really surprised people are starting Beckford over Nugent. Should we really leave our top scorer from last season out over one that did not perform up to scratch?
Happy Fox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Really surprised people are starting Beckford over Nugent. Should we really leave our top scorer from last season out over one that did not perform up to scratch? What is so surprising? it isn't as if Nugent won't get back into the side but the indication atm is that Beckford is putting a graft in and deserves to be in the first team, remember it is a team game and the players I imagine realize that everyone will play a part this season as NP has alluded to, and competition for places in the right areas of the pitch it is a win win.
crisp packet Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 same team , that has started last two games .
Babylon Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Really surprised people are starting Beckford over Nugent. Should we really leave our top scorer from last season out over one that did not perform up to scratch? Normally no, but Beckford and Vardy seem to have linked up ok so far. Perhaps Beckford has benefited from playing next to Vardy and having Drinkwater in midfield. Where as Nugent has only had a few minutes with Vardy and Drinkwater yesterday and none against Sunderland. It's going to take a few games for us to see who is working well with who etc.

Mark_w Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Really surprised people are starting Beckford over Nugent. Should we really leave our top scorer from last season out over one that did not perform up to scratch? It's looking like Beckford is going to be here next season now, if that is the case then both deserve a chance alongside Vardy to prove themselves and Beckford has had the better pre-season. Yes Beckford wasn't as good as Nugent, but they're both going to get a chance so I wouldn't worry about it.
foxesfan1989 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 What is so surprising? it isn't as if Nugent won't get back into the side but the indication atm is that Beckford is putting a graft in and deserves to be in the first team, remember it is a team game and the players I imagine realize that everyone will play a part this season as NP has alluded to, and competition for places in the right areas of the pitch it is a win win. I see what you are saying... I just feel that Nugent was a good contender for player of the season last year, and we have only had a pre-season and cup game since then. So yeah I'm surprised people are starting Beckford, as the Beckford-Vardy combo can't have impressed THAT much that it is untouchable.
gingerlcfc Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 kasper RDL morgan moore konch knoch danns drinky marsh beckford vardy subs logan whitbread/parkes james king nuge dyer waggy
dobbylcfc Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Tbh I'm more concerned about cover for CB on sat than beckford/nugent/vardy partnership as I reckon whitbread still won't be ready.
Bert Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Same team. Can't see Knocky starting having been away most of the week and with Dyer on good form. This.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Same team. Can't see Knocky starting having been away most of the week and with Dyer on good form. this, maybe a few changes on the bench thats all?
Leicester_Numan Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Knockaert may look the better player but I don't see how anyone can think Dyer deserves to be left out. He's playing well and scoring goals. Same team as yesterday for me, can't really leave any of them out at the moment and it's a fast attacking line up. Perfect for Posh
Fox92 Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 We beat Torquay 4-0, so same team: Kasper De Laet -- Moore -- Morgan -- Koncheskey Marshall -- James -- Drinkwater -- Dyer Beckford -- Vardy Subs: Kennedy, Whitbread, King, Danns, Knockaert, Nugent, Futacs
Carter The Boss Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 kasper RDL morgan moore konch knoch danns drinky marsh beckford vardy subs logan whitbread/parkes james king nuge dyer waggy +1
dpjfox Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Looks likely Moore will be available to play (wearing protective mask), id select the same starting 11 but with Knockaert on the bench (for when Dyer tires) and id certainly have a defender on the bench (as Parkes is still suspended Zak more than likely unfit then it may have to be Taft)
Corky Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 No real need to change a side that has won 4-0 and played encouragingly in a friendly. Also got players who'll want to impress from the bench.
