I've said a few times now I don't think this will be our promotion season, but actually next season, if Nige stays and his young guns become well established. I'd love to see us go up but I'm just being honest. I know mate and despite my apparent blindfaith there is a realist in me, however I really do have that unsuustantiated "FEELING"

How do you like that for some bollards... BOOM! Unfortunately that WILL NOT happen. If Cardiff finish 3rd and us 4th we won't play until the final IF we both got there...

However, why are you 'never ceased to be amazed' why people come on here and say 'a top six finish'? It's hardly amazing is it....? You're very easily amazed... I'd go for that minus Sheff Wed as a top 6. I said 8th for us originally then 6th after our last 2 signings. So the other 5 above us in no particular order

Legend_in_blue Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 It surprises me to see Birmingham in a lot of people's lists. I thought they were dreadful last season when we played them, but if they are a milestone so to speak in gauging a top six finish then there's no worries for us IMO. As for the relegated sides we all know Bolton will do hoofball Mills to Davies. They will be there or thereabouts, Wolves woeful last season could be slow starters and Blackburn could well bomb IMO. I have a good feeling about Saturday. I'm thinking back to the season start vs Watford when we beat them 3-0. We all know where that ended up. Here's hoping, expecting good times.

As it's the beginning of another season why not more cheer & enthusiasm. Don't we "believe" as fans that this is our year??
