trugerkem Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 in a we are losing at home to a division 4 team( old school) kind of way
Babylon Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Are we admitting we have problems or are you lot blaming the ref again? Or some supreme deity or are we not getting the 'rub of the green'? I forget what is the bullshit du jour to avoid facing up to facts. We've made 7 changes to the team, they should be good enough to win but it's hardly a reflection of the team that's played the last two or will play on Saturday.
mrmanns84 Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Highlight of the 1st half......burton fan celebrating right next to me and getting abuse for 15 mins straight
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Well that was crap. Anyone fancy a shag?
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 At least Forest are getting battered (0-3) by Wigan. I said it before the game and I'll say it again. I would have preferred less changes, particularly up front. I would have liked to use this game to get some goals for our first choice strikers, not two players that wont play against Blackpool even if they do score. It's still Burton and it's still a team good enough to beat them. Which we will I reckon.
Guest ttfn Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 I have reached a stage in my life where I have become more worried about Foxestalk reactions than final scores Sad isn't it? This forum is full of people desperate for us to lose so they can say they told us so. When we win or play well, it's because the opposition is shit.

NP picked a side he must have thought capable of winning the game. Im not saying we are definitely going to lose but it's not very encouraging is it? I'm looking forwards to you spinning this in to a positive somehow.

I don't know about the goal in this game, but we were robbed against Blackburn by the officials and would have got all 3 points if they were competent so... Every league performance so far is been pretty impressive for me and the results will come with a bit of luck and decent refereeing performances.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 I'm off to watch tele... We'll win.. 3-1.. You heard it hear first.. Adios all
21st Century Fox Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Oh why, oh why can't you transfer list 'fans'.

It was definitely a risk making so many changes and it looks like we are paying for it, but there is no way of knowing what would have happened if we had gone in full strength. Lets see what foot-axe can do. His foot is an axe he can do some damage.

The People's Hero Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Sad isn't it? This forum is full of people desperate for us to lose so they can say they told us so. When we win or play well, it's because the opposition is shit. That is bollox. I'd far rather we won. I just don't pretend we are brilliant when all evidence suggests otherwise. Credit where credit is due, there have been positives, but many many negatives being ignored by many.
AKCJ Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Same old sad acts that only appear when we lose/we're losing.
iamafox Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 At least if we lose in the cup, we can fully concentrate on the league as the players won't be fatigued from playing any extra games.
Guest Bilo Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Oh why, oh why can't you transfer list 'fans'. We're shit in the transfer market. That's how we've ended up with Lamby on a three year deal.
Fox92 Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Oh why, oh why can't you transfer list 'fans'. But then there wouldn't be any 'entertainment'
The People's Hero Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Only first home loss of the season..? Good point. Thank god we don't play footballing giants like Burton every week
Salieri Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 We're shit in the transfer market. That's how we've ended up with Lamby on a three year deal. How long left?
The People's Hero Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Same old sad acts that only appear when we lose/we're losing. Im pretty sure that's bollox. I've not had a lot of opportunity to turn up when we've been winning this season. I wish LCFC would give me more opportunity. What do you want me do? Pretend all is rosy?
Captain... Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Oh why, oh why can't you transfer list 'fans'. I think that the only option is a trade with Bentley's roof, after their invasion last season I think it is better the devil you know.

Kitchandro Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 doesnt matter which way you look at it .....even if we do win this is slightly embarrassing Yeh because it would be the first time a Championship team has struggled to beat a lower league team in a one off cup match.
Guest shearfox Posted 28 August 2012 Posted 28 August 2012 Got better towards the end of the half, 8-9 changes just left us a little out of sorts early on in the game but well done to Burton for being able to take that chance. I still see us winning this game maybe 3 or 4 one.
