Ozwin Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 Need to up my wardrobe a bit. What are the cool kids wearing these days?
Guest MattP Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 Brown shoes. Good jeans, expensive belt and nice shirt. Jacket with it if more formal.
lavrentis Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 I've had the same sort of situation as you. Very recently updated my wardrobe. Depends really but quite often red/blue chinos with a printed t shirt

lavrentis Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 Ugh, chinos are still in? I dont like the ones that go to the ankle but meh they are okay
LJS Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 I never 'update' my wardrobe. I occasionally get home from work to find that my girlfriend has bought me some stuff. This suits me, as it means I don't have to set foot in a clothes shop. Well, apart from when she insists we should spend some time together, which normally means "let's go to Fosse Park". When that happens I just pretend not to be grumpy. She'll ask me if I want to look for clothes for myself. Do I balls.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 A good fitting pair of jeans will always feel / look better than chinos, for me. However in Leicester it seems to be trendy for the chaps to wear no socks on nights out - since I've been back for the summer I've never seen so many pairs of men's ankles. Personally think it makes gents look ****ing stupid but what do I know?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 Brown shoes. Good jeans, expensive belt and nice shirt. Jacket with it if more formal. Is that cos you stood in shit?
LcFc_Smiv Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 What is it with lads going out in vest tops, and low cut t shirts, see it all the time accompanied with the fake tan.
Leicesterpool Posted 4 September 2012 Posted 4 September 2012 Well every lad wears jeans, a check shirt all that stuff. Plus wear lots of aftershave.

Guest MattP Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 Is that cos you stood in shit? It helps if you do. I've always liked Brown shoes with Jeans or Black Trousers, looks good. I have never ever worn Chinos either.
Fox92 Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 Just bang on the standard jeans, shirt and converse.
Zingari Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 You won't go far wrong with a full replica footy kit, or a jester's hat and blue face paint if you're really looking to turn some heads ..
davieG Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 Brown shoes. Good jeans, expensive belt and nice shirt. Jacket with it if more formal. Back in the day i used to take a lot of ribbing for wearing that combo, my favourites were some brown suede shoes.
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 Good pair of jeans Calvin Klein black shirt Smart black shoes Fake tan....
Voll Blau Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 Nice polo shirt, jeans, and good trainers or shoes. Really don't get the One Direction look every two-bit twat with no brain of his own is going for at the moment. I'm sure the trend will die out though...

Bellend Sebastian Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 M&S own brand jeans that I've been wearing in the week to and from work, because I cannot be arsed to iron my Levis, five year old H&M brown polo shirt, 3 year old Adidas Superstars that look like I might have stolen them from a tramp

Finnegan Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 This calls for a bump of lads with fresh styles, surely.
Captain... Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 Normally what I am already wearing, unless I've spilt me dinner down it, then a clean t-shirt, or shirt, quick spray of deodorant and I'm ready. You can take that as I always look good and ready to party, or I stopped caring about how I looked years ago. Which ever makes me appear cooler.
