MC Prussian Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 It starts tonight: Jordan vs. Uruguay (3pm UK) Mexico vs. New Zealand (8.30pm UK)
Guest MattP Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 It starts tonight: Jordan vs. Uruguay (9pm UK) Mexico vs. New Zealand (8.30pm UK) Pretty sure those times won't be correct, That means Jordan will be kicking off at 2am local and Mexico 3.30pm on weekdays. Think Jordan will be about 3pm here and Mexico around midnight earliest.
filbertway Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Jordan kick off 3pm our time and Mexico at 8:30 our time. Based on skybet and flashscores anyway. All over Chris Wood fgs and 1-0 tonight at 290/1!

Thanks to both of you - I've edited the kick-off time for the Jordan - Uruguay match accordingly.

That's a very strange time for Mexico to be kicking off isn't it? What's the thinking behind that on a Wednesday?
Guest MattP Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 As expected Jordan looking miles out of their depth here. And Blatter wants more places to Asia.
Dan Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Jordan 0-2 Uruguay HT. Think we can safely add Uruguay to the 'qualified' list. As expected Jordan looking miles out of their depth here. And Blatter wants more dodgy bribes off more Asian FA's.
Guest MattP Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Should be 4 or 5 already to be honest. Uruguay not playing well though. Jordan would have been on the end of some serious thumpings next summer.
MC Prussian Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 3-0 to Uruguay now, Lodeiro with the third. Jordan, you're an embarrassment (but it had to be expected).
MC Prussian Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Hello, Uruguay. Welcome to Brazil 2014. 5-0, great and precise free-kick by Cavani.
Guest MattP Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Jordan 0-5 Uruguay. If Fifa have any sympathy they will allow a forfeit for the second leg. Painful viewing and a nice reminder to Blatter and Platini that if they are thinking of expanding the World Club just to get 'different' nations in - well don't bother.
Amin Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 It was sad to see Jordan get beat like that but i'm glad they've had their chance against Uruguay. They've done brilliantly to get this far and I hope they will use this experience to improve themselves.
Jordan Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 As expected Jordan looking miles out of their depth here. And Blatter wants more places to Asia. For the Game. For the World.FIFA should just tack "For the money" on the end of their motto. 3-0 to Uruguay now, Lodeiro with the third. Jordan, you're an embarrassment (but it had to be expected). I'd have given a better game, but I couldn't get the day off work.

martyn Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Mexico v New Zealand on premier sports on sky/virgin. Chris Wood playing.
ADK Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Wood apparently will miss the second leg due to getting a yellow card. Wonder if he did so he could get back for Ipswich?
MC Prussian Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Appalling defending from New Zealand - and they were holding up so well up to this point. Superb goalkeeping up to this point from the Kiwi keeper - it took a massive defensive mix-up to let the hosts find the net. 1-0 Mexico.
ADK Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Shame really. Mexico are poor. A lot of non qualifying European teams are better than Mexico.
Wycombe Fox Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 New Zealand bloody awful, Mexico not much better. £1 at 225/1 the draw Edit: now 275/1. In the words of Jimmy Greaves "it's a funny ol' game"
