Haydos Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Di Maria isn't anywhere near the third best player in the world. Did anyone say he is?
Happy Fox Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Generally strikers from the Bundesliga make the transition to the prem quite well their is an awful lot of talent in Germany hopefully our scouting network could tap into that.
AKCJ Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Anybody that said Rooney please edit now! Played awful today, even his goal was lucky.

Generally? Name some. Dzecko's been nothing more than alright and Podolski's only just got here.
Guest shearfox Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Anybody that said Rooney please edit now! So when ever a player is in bad form they aren't good anymore...
Guest MattP Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 So when ever a player is in bad form they aren't good anymore... Rooney has been in bad form since about 2009 hasnt he?
foxfanazer Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 So when ever a player is in bad form they aren't good anymore... Exactly what I said....
AKCJ Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Neymar One day. He's got massive potential, though. Interesting to see how Lucas Moura will get on for PSG when he arrives in January.
Danno Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Hart Ramos Kompany Piqué Cole Xavi Toure Ronaldo Iniesta Messi Falcao
accessory Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Hart Ramos Kompany Piqué Cole Xavi Toure Ronaldo Iniesta Messi Falcao Would this be the same Cole that had a shocker in Warsaw last night? He's not even the best left-back for England any more. Hart has a long way to go to reach the status of Buffon or Casillas.
Jonezy Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Generally? Name some. Dzecko's been nothing more than alright and Podolski's only just got here. Ba and Cisse seem to be doing allright for Newcastle.
Jimothy Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Ba and or Cisse seem to be doing allright for Newcastle. That's better
Tielemans63 Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 I played pretty well at 6-a-side tonight - got to be in with a shout of top 10 if not top 3. Not many players can score with a deft flick off the left buttock whilst pretending to miss with a right-footed volley. That sounds impossible but a player like me makes it possible.
Dan Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Iniesta. Closely followed by Xavi and Falcao. The fact Redknapp compared Bale to Messi and Ronaldo says what a complete clown he actually is. This. I'd say Yaya Toure is the Premier's best player currently and I'd stick all of them above him. He is a sensational player though. Messi's by a stretch the best player I've ever seen. Bale doesn't come close.
Danizen Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Can we put a ban on the word 'overrated', please? Di Maria isn't overrated, Gomez isn't overrated, Iniesta isn't overrated, Cole isn't overrated and Ronaldo certainly isn't overrated. These are all fantastic players and people are showing their own ignorance by using the O-word.
MC Prussian Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Genius-wise, probably Iniesta. Talent-wise, Falcao.
Soar Fox Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Don't know how true it is, but I saw on twitter the other day that in 2009 Martin O'Neil turned down the chance to sign Falcao for £7 million. He signed Emile Heskey instead.

He signed Emile Heskey instead. It's complete bollocks, no idea who started it. He signed Heskey in Jan that year, Falcao left after River went out the Copa Libertadores in the summer to Porto for 3million euros. Falcao has been a real late bloomer, he looked very good River but never World Class.
Soar Fox Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Must be true if it was on Twitter That's why I said "don't know how true it is"
Tielemans63 Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 That's why I said "don't know how true it is" Touchy. Thought the icon might have hinted that the post was tongue-in-cheek but obviously not. I wasn't suggesting you believed it just cuz it was on Twitter more that there's a 99% chance that it'll be bollocks because of where it's been posted!
Bayfox Posted 18 October 2012 Posted 18 October 2012 Surely ronaldo is now the 3rd best player in the world now. Behind messi and our own knockaert.
