The club have sold around 2200 tickets off the back of the ticket promotion according to the Merc the other day and latest estimates were for between 23500 and 24K on the total turnout.

Quite honestly if 24000 people turn up to see us play Brighton on a half term midweek, it's a good effort these days, plus quite a few people with kids will have gone away for a break rather than get slapped down for taking them away in term time.
