sorry but Pearson set us up wrong today! 3 centre mids is not what were about! they were getting closed down far too often and we couldnt get out passing game going till the end of 1st half!

and then to take knockaert off when he was looking dangerous just sent out the complete wrong message to them!

Fuctas cudnt win his headers ! moore given far too much to do when whitbread got sent off

James ineffective too lightweight on the ball! dyer too predictable !

Nugent ran his heart and had shit service

What a crap day, compounded by several things.

The performance firstly- not good enough. We had one outstanding player in Schmeichel, one decent player in Nugent, Morgan and Konchesky did ok, but the rest were below par or poor. You can't afford seven players off the pace, against a limited but spirited Watford team. For half an hour we barely got out of our half, and even late on we failed to create significant pressure. Not good enough all round and although it's had its critics, we've been at our most threatening this season as a 4-4-2.

The officials were just dreadful, collectively, but the linesman near the away fans was the worst. Couldn't wait to get the flag up in the second half, didn't bother when our players were fouled and ignored two offsides in the first half. Added to the fact he was stood over the corner area and still allowed the Watford player to place the ball outside the quadrant, it was just bad.

Our fans- Whether it was getting on the players' backs from kick-off, to arguing about standing/sitting, it was a poor day from our fans. Too many were too quick to get at the team, people wanting to stand in front of people wanting to sit (and nearly coming to blows over it), fans in wrong seats, too many in certain rows- just a difficult and unhelpful atmosphere.

Altogether it was shit.

Cheers for the report.

I always thought they were gonna come at us from the off.

We must stop that happening against Bolton.

Got back a while ago. My 3rd away game of the season and again, we've gone 2 goals down, pulled one back but ultimately crap defending and not threatening enough up front has cost us. It's a shame to see us fall further in the league again but I suppose this is more like reality being a City fan. Watford seemed to want it more than we did today, they came at us, got in our faces and actually played some decent stuff at times. The last couple of times I've been to Vicarage Road they've been sh*t and scored 3 goals. Today, we were lucky that we didn't concede that again.

Also, the "atmosphere" was shit.

I'm moaning alot but that's just because it's been another shit away day and having been to the Blackpool and Bristol City home games, I know how good we can play so it's just frustrating. I'm sure there's many other fans in the same boat though. Overall, I'm still happy with our season, let's hope we can turn it around again sooner rather than later.

People booed when Knockaert went off and i can't say i blame them. Why did NP do that? Was the only one threatening to do something.

Brought our "support" to a new low. Embarrassing.

Wasn't at game today Mike so can't talk with authority of someone there like you. Stringer & Youngy commentary made it sound like after first 20-25 mins we improved was a little unlucky with a couple of penno shouts and we could have been caught going for it in second half... So were we really that bad in your opinion or are you venting because you're understandably disappointed?

Took 30 mins and the switching of flanks for Marshall and Knockaert before we registered a shot. Sluggish performace throughout and incredibly static all over. Anyone playing right side would struggle with Moore behind them, his touch was incredibly wayward and his decision making very slow.

We gained some form of foothold tail end of first have and beginning of second half which made the decision to remove Knockaert (who was far from brilliant) seem curious and slightly desperate as we lobbed on a striker to the right wing and a lump up front. We never really threatened at all following the subs, yes we had pressure but no real threat.

We were as bad as we were last season when Wellens and Gallagher we bete noir. We made ourselves look bad mind you, we reverted to what gives Pearson haters succor for their hatred of his style.

Hardly. He'd been poor but he still carried a threat. To see him replaced by a out of form striker who was deployed on the right wing was annoying.

The booing wasn't great but the sentiment was right. Knockaert was improving towards the end of the first half and getting into the game more.

That was basically the same game as last week only we lost to a lower ranked side with shitter fans.

I will most likely post more aggressively when I read the inevitable over-reactionary shite.

I wasn't surprised by this result, I thought it would happen after I heard the team selection. If we're going to go 1 up front it has to be Futacs. You need someone who can hold the ball up in that formation and we know that isn't Nugent's strength. The lack of defensive cover was also very evident today with no defender on the bench and now Whitbread getting sent off. The bright side though is Pearson stated that he might be looking to bring a couple of players in and this time it wasn't his typical "not ruling anything" out response to a question, he stated it himself with no urging. I haven't read the whole thread yet but I really hope people aren't suggesting bringing Beckford back

There are some fools on here who think otherwise but... and maybe I'm misreading your sentiment... this would still be a rather good time to face up to the possibility that there are some holes in this Leicester side, rather than sweeping back-to-back defeats under the carpet.

Some people already knew there was, some people said we'll have bad games, some people said we're going to lose games, some people don't think we're the finished article or expect us to be perfect.

Nobody is sweeping amything anywhere. I've not been on here celebrating like we're already promoted, just like I'm not going to act like its a sodding disaster being 4th and losing two games on the trot.

As I said when we were top, the league is and will probably continue to be exceptionally tight. All teams will have good and bad patches.

Futacs was awful today, barely won a header and had one decent shot.

Nugent could play that role but the rest of the team were too far away from him to help.

Cheers Mike, not sounding likr they covered themselves in glory!

5th post in this thread, who's saying anything about this??

Perhaps you should read the match thread with the "the rots set in", "we've been found out", "Pearson fluked being top", "he's a shit manager", "we're shit", "midtable here we come", "x player should never play for us again" brigade out in force.

If you find yourself booing your own players or manager during the course of a match, you need to take a good, hard look at yourself and why you bother coming, sorry.

Someone got it right somewhere on here saying concerned we're getting off the pace and that's right and its frustrating. Desperately need a few results soon to keep us in there.

This league is very poor really i really still think Cardiff will slip badly and its there for the taking.

I didn't agree with the booing, but I saw the confusion and frustration that it caused.

Some moaning fecker.

Oh yes.

Matty James and Bloody Drinkwater are the worst players I've seen, he said.

If we only had 4 shots and he had one of them then he was better than most. He was also up against Fitz Hall who is just as tall as him but to win a header it has to be a decent ball in the first place. We would have been better served playing it to his feet, no-one can hold the ball, wait for support and then lay it off while the ball is in the air

Have they not seen Wellens, grrrr bloody Wellens.

Sadly the LCFC panto isn't confined to the Christmas period.

Maybe they were showing their support for the player being dragged off?

A weak excuse. If you want to support someone, give him a standing ovation, you don't turn negativity into positivity.
