seenitall Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 No wonder I'm paranoid with everyone hating me all the time
Corky Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 I've no problem with you wanting more players- that's fine.
ithuriel Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 No wonder I'm paranoid with everyone hating me all the time Nope, you are not worthy of hate
ADK Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 If the decisions had been called correctly and we had won the game 3-1 i don't think there would be much discussion about the teams shortcomings. I can't complain with that performance if we perform like that in our remiaing fixtures we will get promoted.

Great post - if we won all our games always we'd be top of the premier league and European champions too - there'd still be plenty to moan about though

The point is we didn't score 3 goals though did we? For example like I said early in the thread if we won 3-2 (With the penalty standing) I don't think people would be even mention the penalty or referee making a bad decision. If we had scored 3 goals no-one would be discussing the teams shortcomings because there would be no shortcomings. Surely it what you have said is like saying if one of our umpteen chances went in during the first half against Bolton and we won the game 1-0 no-one would be discussing the shortcomings in the game.
cardifflee Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Waggy did not have a blinder he played well put himself about missed a couple of good chances took a few wrong decisions fair play to him he tried hard, but as a striker no matter how well you play you are judged on goals. Heskey prime example Would we rather have Beckford upfront, lazy does not do a lot but scores goals? or someone like Waggy plays ok runs his socks off but dont get the goals? I know which i would prefer but thats just me, at the end of the day Waggy is never gonna be a 20 goal a season man but maybe just maybe............

Granted Beckford has scored more than Waghorn, you can't deny that but Beckford doesn't score that many more really. Not here anyway. And you can say 'Beckford would score given Waghorn's chance/positions' all you like but that's the point Beckford would be in the same chances/positions because he is lazy and doesn't work half as hard as Waghorn does. Beckford just wants to have the hard work done for him and just tap them in and take the credit, that's how it seemed to me when he was here anyway.
Fox92 Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Sharp has form. He won another 'penalty' for Sheff U a few seasons ago. Yes he did. If it's the one I think you mean, Kisnorbo got sent off at Bramall Lane. I can still remember that. Don't like Sharp, overrated little cheat. Off topic, but I noticed yesterday that the amount of academy players on the field, playing for both teams (and including Morgan), was good.

Cut the prejudice and get him back

seenitall Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 For the last time, he doesn't want to be here! He signed a fvcking contract - who cares - who really wants to be at work where they are?????
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 He signed a fvcking contract - who cares - who really wants to be at work where they are????? Errrr... Me? I quite like my job thanks.

Cut the prejudice and get him back Yeah, especially after he scored 12 goals in 43 league appearances alone for us in the 2009/10 season.
Mark_w Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Waggy can only dream of scoring that many with 12 in 44 in League 1. You going senile or just making stuff up to suit your argument again?

Cut the prejudice and get him back You really are a tool . I believe you mean Waghorn's 12 in 44 was in the Championship, when for the main part, he was back-up for Fryatt and only really got a proper run in the team when Fryatt got taken out by Stock.
Mark_w Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 Not to mention the fact that he's included six completely irrelevant goals for Beckford.
Corky Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 "Can we just have some fvcking consistency please". lol You mean you want decisions like that in every game?
5waller5 Posted 11 November 2012 Posted 11 November 2012 You going senile or just making stuff up to suit your argument again? Every time someone brings age into it you get the hump - so maybe consider how you speak to people before throwing your toys out of the pram next time?

Cut the prejudice and get him back Hah, you absolute clown. Just shows what you know about anything - sod all. Maybe you should change your name to Seen****all? Beckford's been managed by Grayson, Pearson, Erickson, Moyes... when none of those managers have gotten the 'best' out of him, you have to accept that his level was League One - he was just another Matt Fryatt. Dangerous at lower league level, distinctly average everywhere else. In fact, Fryatt's probably a much better option than Beckford.
MattyFromLE Posted 12 November 2012 Posted 12 November 2012 Same old morons, moaning about the same things. We are looking stronger than ever, and even though the last 5 games we have been unlucky I still believe us to be strong enough to get promoted. Palace is the only game I feel we have been completely out-played. Goal scoring is an issue, but seeing as we've only not scored in ONE game this season I really don't think that it is a fair assessment that it's all due to Waghorn. He proved on Saturday that he is getting into the right places at the right time, and if it wasn't for someones right foot being on the line at the right time, and a world class save from Camp - he'd have bagged and you'd all be getting Waghorn printed on your shirts, saying he's better than Beckford and he's our saviour.
Corky Posted 12 November 2012 Posted 12 November 2012 Every time someone brings age into it you get the hump - so maybe consider how you speak to people before throwing your toys out of the pram next time? No, mark got the hump because seenitall was trying to put Waghorn down and then gave out wrong stats.
