Cheers Col. My second ever trip to Twickenham and look where it's got me!

As for not being able to be a rugby / football fan - I've never heard such bollocks! First and foremost I'm a City fan but I'm a big fan of rugby union, league, cricket, basketball, baseball etc etc. Don't get the logic that you can't possibly enjoy another sport if you like football. Anyways great win today!

lol

Sorry for laughing mate. I'm with ya.. Course you can like both!

I'd NEVER choose fookin Rugby over football though. NEVER!

lol

Must have touched a nerve with some of you on here - nice to see the City win so big, not seen for years (if ever?) Vitriol is fun, as long as you can take it then feel free to dish it out. It is a bit sad though when the hilight of winning is ripping the piss out of another poster but whatever turns you on guys.

Great to see us beat a team in the bottom three though - lets hope we can repeat this against the big boys........

Evening seenitall, quality all round team performance today, Dyer and Waggy excellent and the rest not far behind, pace, power fast flowing football and net bulging a plenty :D:chant:

Sort of expected a big win was due but still came as a nice surprise. Could be more on the way?

More chance of Snow falling in Leicester on Christmas day, than the team scoring six again anytime soon.

But you never know, a 4-0 win would be nice against Derby.

Damn I was think you would take the line of never a pen, lucky for the ball to fall to Nuge, dyer finally got a shot on target

lol

There is a cynical side to me that has a hunch we weren't playing a team with a rock solid defence and England's keeper elect in goal, especially with their minus 23 goal difference after so early in the season, but even I can't find too many negatives in a 6-0, shame that so many can't enjoy it without putting the boot into their own fans, hey ho

Nice of you to ask and to care , but a bit silly to be so presumptuous - delighted with the win, it shows that after struggling for four games, Nigel is capable of turning things around and getting a resounding victory against a relegation threatened side with the worst goal difference in the division, well done to all.

Hopefully, the strikers having realised that when you hit the target you have a better chance of scoring will continue in this vein for the rest of the season and the promotion we all crave will be ours.

**** the willy puller. Its hard to comment listening to the radio anyway

Charming, and so eloquent too. Guess you went to the game so your little chest is all puffed out with 'true supporter' badge worn with pride - never doubted Nige did you, ever?

I agree with the point that in the first half against Brum away we played as well as we did yesterday but came out of it with sod all because of poor finishing and much more capable defending by the opposition.

Mick McCarthy called his teams defending "embarrassing" in the post match interview and I'd have to agree, and our 6 must be put into perspective.

Still a very good win though.

I love golf and cricket as well as football.

Rugby and football are so similar yet so different to each other. I dont think if you're a fan of football in the way you should, you can then possibly be just as passionate when at the Rugby

Tend to agree with you, Ipswich are poor. That's what this division is about. You have to preform week in week out and have a bit of class about you as well. If not you will get taken apart. We showed up and did a number on them. 6-0 is what dreams are made of.

Some tend to over react to your posts and I think you are smart enough to know my comments where tongue in cheek. It would not be the same with out you.

I'd like to applaud the fantastic BBC Sport for their statistics.

The fantastic BBC stats, provided by The Press Association.

Although it is pretty remarkable to score 6 from 5 shots :D

It is, the opinion of most people is that seenitall is a willy puller. Hope that clears things up.

Of course it is Mark-W - (what does the W stand for?)

Can't beat a good old fashioned personal attack can you?

Glad you acknowledge your smugness in your profile, it really is an attractive feature, Mrs W is a lucky woman

I think most are fed up with your negativity mate. As well as your unfair judgement on Waggy. Hopefully you're happy to admit that you were wrong about Pearson, and hopefully Waghorn too. Then we can all be friends again, right?

Combine that with his strength and negativity of his points being based on hearsay or neespaper reports.

I never said I thought that.

And I was defending you a few days ago, remember?

We never usually put a team in the bottom 3 to the sword, but yesterday we did just that,i have been critical of Waghorn, but his last 3 appearances have changed my mind and i hope he can keep up that level of performance along with the rest of the team.Still unsure of Whitbread, although yesterday was his best game in a City shirt so far.

I think whoareyaaa deserves some recognition as well, while I'm being smug, if we'd dropped Dyer and Waghorn like he suggested in the pre-match thread we'd have drawn 0-0.

Seriously though, it's quite impressive that they were involved in all 6 goals.
