Dan Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Biggest win of my lifetime, an absolutely special day and I'm incredibly proud of them all. Sensational.
kingfox Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Calm down mate, it was a joke. How many pants have you spunked in the past hour? There is a piece of me, which wants to see Waghorn go 20 games without another goal after today, just because of you

Leicester_Numan Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 I'm glad we got the early penalty. Settled all the nerves. Great performance from all, including the officials. I hope we don't do a typical Leicester now and fail to score in the next 3 or 4 games
kingfox Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 You can do that again, when his next goal comes along, will be a long time though. I can see it now, written in the stars, to get us promotion in the last game of the season at Forest, locked at 2-2 again, but Waghorn scores a last minute winner to send us up.
halferowley2 Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 All I can say is I was there the day we scored 6 goals it would be nice if we could now be consistent and score six every game.
RonnieTodger Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Unbelievable performance from the lads. Never seen a more convincing performance from us, I don't think. Thuroughly deserved the 6 goals. Surprised the attendance was sub-21,000, it looked a bit more. You've gotta worry for Ipswich. They've lost 6-0 to us and Blackpool and lost 5-0 to Palace. Mick's got a huge job on his hands.
Fox92 Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 You've gotta worry for Ipswich. They've lost 6-0 to us and Blackpool and lost 5-0 to Palace. Mick's got a huge job on his hands. I was listening to radio Suffolk, and they sounded so upset. At one point the reporter was going through the biggest defeats in recent years; Blackpool, Chelsea, Peterborough etc.. Really hope they don't go down though, decent club, quite like Ipswich.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Great win, so pleased we won by more than a 4 goal margin which I never ever thought we'd do, as we seem to love 4-0s as a maximum. Much more clinical and so pleased for Waggy. Dont get carried away though as they were a very poor side.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Today was justice for THAT game in the snow.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Well done City. A team to be proud of today.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 We all know we can't be as clever as you are Mark. Even after a great win you need to thrust something in our faces I see. I'm not surprised.... Anyway... Fantastic result for the lads, long may this continue. Thank-you Nigel!! Quality today mate, I'd say Waggy was my MOM but very close between him and Lloydy, everyone on their game today and got reward for oustanding attacking play and a solid defensive unit including Mr Whitbread
foxfanazer Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Makes up for when they hammered us during the ice age
Matt Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 When we were promoted under Micky Adams they beat us 6-1. Is 6 goals in a game against Ipswich an omen?
Saxondale Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Ipswich are actually my second team. This doesn't mean I have any sympathy, City above all! I've never seen Leicester properly smash a team like that. Well, I have, but without the scoreline. Great day!
Craig Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 When we were promoted under Micky Adams they beat us 6-1. Is 6 goals in a game against Ipswich an omen? No, because there were 7 in the game under Micky Adams...
Matt Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 No, because there were 7 in the game under Micky Adams... . What I meant was a game where one of the teams scored 6. I'm clutching at straws. I'm posting for the sake of posting, you know what I mean.
Guest ttfn Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Good performance, but I think we've played better this season. Ipswich were awful. Dyer, Waghorn and King were great.
dedlock Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Brilliant. I cannot recall such a dominant display in 50 odd years. The 4-0 away at Derby was over after 15 mins. It was encouraging that even at 4 up we carried on in 2nd half Credit where its due,the ref had a good game.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 I'd like to applaud the fantastic BBC Sport for their statistics.
