Amazing how quiet it is when we win a game haha. This thread at be about 10 pages longer if we'd lost.

I'd like to think they're all out celebrating a good win, but most likley just playing black opps or summit?

just got back, very good away performance dominated large parts, defended excellently and could have scored more, they werent great but youve got to beat whats infront of you, lets face it last year we would have lost that, on to leeds :scarf::pearson:

To be honest I didn't think you played that great other than the last 30 minutes, but you were well worth the 3 points and by far the better team on the day. It seemed to me like you could have upped it and gone up a gear or two if you wanted, but you didn't really turn it on fully until the end of the match. The first half was poor from both teams but you got the goal to go ahead and did a workman like job. That was probably our worst performance of the season, and if we were still playing just now we probably still wouldn't have scored. No positives for me other than the new loanee left back. In the second half we were abysmal but you stepped it up and at the end you were playing some excellent football. It was grim to watch our players being bossed like that. I was very impressed with Waghorn who I thought was desperately unlucky not to score, Drinkwater, and Marshall. Excellent support today from your boys and girls, and congratulations on a well deserved win. :( I'm off to drown my sorrows further.

Thought the fans were brilliant today, top atmosphere....... b.t.w Vardy is something of a cult hero in Sheffield, met up with some wednesday fans who follow vardy when sheff aint playing (top blokes), was in the home pub....they love him there.

My personal opinion of Vardy would be to loan him out to a league 1 team, get some experience because i genuinely think its a massive step for him

lol Maybe I'm just being cynical. I'm certainly off to enjoy a pint or two.

Thought we were great today, moved the ball well and took our chances.

DD and Kingy at the centre of everything good, Schlupp looked good at left back again, 1st to the ball most of the time.

Only on for a bit but Knockaert, as always, looked on another level.

Did anyone see the guy who ran celebrating across the front of the lower teer when we scored and then at half time got kicked out. Absolute joke all the stewards were laughing with us at him and not remotly asking him to stop.

Was sat right behind me. Unbelievable decision.

What was Marshall's goal like

A beauty.

Curled in from the edge of the area past Kirkland.

Unlucky not to have scored a belter of a header from a Waggy corner too.

After our woeful record against tinpot rubbish at the bottom of this league last season, that's now three convincing wins against the current bottom 3 in this league already.

Wednesday are a tinpot club you say? lol

I appreciate that they're not very good and all but I wouldn't really say "tinpot" is the right word.

Is he not getting enough experience winning game after game he's involved in with a top Championship club??

Just got back, A very professional performance from all the team yes the first half was a war of attrition and it was hard to break Wednesday down but when we got the goal nice strike from Drinkwater it seemed to lift our momentum their were periods in the second half were we totally dominated them, and could of scored a bag load, Waghorn particularly unlucky, I thought Vardy should of been a bit more composed but then Marshall pops up with another beauty of a goal to seal the 3 points excellent away performance onwards and upwards we go :scarf:

Just got in from the boozer. Been there since 12 so hope I'm not developing a problem.. lol

Great win City!

Third in the league and looking very strong!

Can't believe Millwall at 6th!! That will be a tough game.

Didn't get today but I keep saying to mates at work, we were ok but they (whoever we've beat)were rubbish. Maybe just maybe we are actually a very good team and making the rest of the league look worse.
