Mark_w Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Well done BBC, a stock photo of Ben Marshall, in the wrong kit, celebrating by holding his hands to his ears. Excellent choice for your match report.
Ashley Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Anyone got a picture of our fans from yesterday?
tartanowl Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Well done BBC, a stock photo of Ben Marshall, in the wrong kit, celebrating by holding his hands to his ears. Excellent choice for your match report. I know he didn't even celebrate the goal! Deserved his ovation from both sets of fans after the game too even if it did feel a bit bizarre clapping an opposition player. For a 21 year old lad Ben is a gem as a footballer and a person. He always had time for fans at club functions. He's a cracking lad.

Leicesterpool Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Just got back, the line between Derby and Leicester was horrible the line was complete flooded. On match, it was a first class performance, Wednesday looked dreadful to be honest Kasper might as well not played. They did nothing at all, once again a dominating performance. My only downer is we should have scored more goals, Vardy could have done alot more to me he's struggling, I think if Nugent had played the goals would have gone in. Best away trip of the season so far!
Jugsi Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Thought we were really solid yesterday, they are poor but we must take some credit for making them look bad. Great turn out, loved the atmosphere, especially before the game within the stand, felt like a Turkish atmosphere (in a good way) with a few people enjoying the drink. Got to say Morgan is absolute class, made Bothroyd his bitch for the afternoon. Love Drinkwater too, breaks play up and controls the game. Agree with others that Marshall did ok, his goal and assist make his performance sound better than it was, took his goal well but that miss was horrible. I also think Vardy will come good with experience, he tries to beat people rather than get his shot off, worked in lower leagues but he needs to be more clinical.

anotherharboroughfox Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Wednesday never really looked like scoring. Atmosphere was alright, got the Melbourne Victory chant going and a decent group of us at the back behind the goal. Quality day out. PARTY TRAM!

Atmosphere was alright, got the Melbourne Victory chant going and a decent group of us at the back behind the goal. Quality day out. PARTY TRAM! I bet you had one trainer in the air towards the end, that was quite amusing. Good crowd at the top in the middle yesterday, getting songs going.

I know i heard however the side i was standing on, kept singing different chants to the left side. I think eventually the chant will pick up!
AKCJ Posted 25 November 2012 Author Posted 25 November 2012 Shame they didn't fill up from the front backwards because it looks like there is about 18 of us on the football league show.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Make no mistake, we were shite, particularly in the first half. Drinkwater had a shocker til his goal. Gave every ball swatch
Tom17LCFC Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Decent standing numbers? Yeah pretty much the whole end stood. Cracking away day.
sphericalfox Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 My shins are in agony today from our second goal. It was very nice of the steward at the gate to ask me if I had bottles or cans in my backpack. For me to open the top of the bag and for him to simply pat the bottom of the bag missing the obvious shiny things floating to the top Made drinking up in the stewardless top tier that much more enjoyable!
jockkkk Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Hi all, Whitbread disappointed me. He seemed to be all over the forwards due to poor positioning and I'm surprised he didn't give away more free kicks. I was very impressed with Da Laet. I'm no longer a season ticket holder (only see the team when they're around Yorkshire) so I have a question for you...when did Dyer stop running? When was he told to stop at the half way line and make a sideways pass? Anyway, an easy win and now looking onto the Leeds match. I don't think I'll walk back from the stadium this time as the atmosphere wasn't great....think the LCFC santa hat will be on! Also took this pic.
Father Ted Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Just got one thing to say, as a defence unit, BEASTLY! Whitbread and Morgan looks like a flourishing partnership, both experienced, strong, good in the air, brutal, dominant and non-compromising. Along with two full backs that can equally match tricky and pacy wingers whilst providing an attacking threat. Drinkwater and King, such clever footballers. Yesterday was a thoroughly professional performance and the result was never in doubt as soon as we got our first, could quite easily have been 5 or 6 with King's header clipping the bar first half, Waghorn's effort that hit the bar, Marshall's awful free header miss and Kirkland's ridiculous save from Waggy. Future is bright.
Voll Blau Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Yea goals were decent. Though the best bit of the day was the tram to the ground. Hilarious. Doo doo doo, we're Leicester and we're stupid... Stuck around in Sheffield today for a few beers. For anyone who was in The Cavendish pre-match yesterday, I saw Savile again. He was rooting around in some bins off West Street.
