FrankieADZ Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Knocky with a free role up top with Nugent i wonder
Babylon Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Surprised king is dropped....Really 😌 Rested more like.
Unabomber Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Rested more like. this he always looks bloody knackered.
Fox92 Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Whitbread has a calf injury. Knockaert is playing behind Nugent, with Dyer and Marshall starting out wide. Nice.
Happy Fox Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Knockaert to score a hat trick you heard it hear first.
Thracian Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Pleased Dyer is back in, disappointed Schlupp isn't tearing up the left with him. King needs a rest particularly with all these games & James is more than able backup. All makes sense. Hoping for 3pts. Agree all round.
Thracian Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Knockaert to score a hat trick you heard it hear first. We've not scored for three games so if you believe one player is gonna score three you probably believe you can fly as well! Not that i'd complain if it happened but from the games at Burnley I've seen, we'll be lucky to have three decent shots.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Annoyed i'm not there to see this set up. Touche, I've got a good feeling about today!
TrentFox Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Annoyed i'm not there to see this set up. If the Powell rumours are true, then we might get to see it quite a bit more with luck !
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Whitbread is in the end with us LCFC fans. In a section with plastic seats with a few other chaps with him. So sort of segregated from us. Doing autographs and stuff now

Babylon Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 If the Powell rumours are true, then we might get to see it quite a bit more with luck ! Can't see Nugent and Wood fitting in it together though.

MikeyT Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Burnley: Grant, Trippier, Lafferty, Duff, Shackell, Marney, McCann, Ings, Wallace, Austin, Treacy. Subs: Edgar, O’Neill, Stock, Bartley, Paterson, Vokes, Jensen.
TrentFox Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Can't see Nugent and Wood fitting in it together though. For me, we looked more potent as an attacking threat when we 'dabbled' with that formation at start of season. It would be a tough call to say whether we were more likely to score with Knocky and Powell sitting behind one of Nuge and Wood or whether to play both strikers and one of the two attacking midfielders. He'll most probably find a way of accommodating everyone in a 4-4-2 !!!
Rincewind Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Just got home and put the radio on. First words I heard from the commentator was ' There is a Leicester fan here with a giant flag, can you come over here and bend over?'
cc_star Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 I've wanted a 4231 for a while particularly away from home. It's not without its problems though. Nugent, our most gifted goal scorer will have to put a shift in working the channels & creating space with no Vardy to assist he'll be knackered and the games are coming thick & fast, the onus will be on the trio behind to make the most of that space. Austin will also be more than a handful for Moore who's been known to make an error leading to opposition goal on more than one away game. Happy overall though
RyanLCFC18 Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Does anybody know the radio channel please?
RyanLCFC18 Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Austin starts for Burnley. he'l only play like half though i guess
