ian1984summer Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 hi, complete long shot here but i am reaching out to every possible outlet. i am looking for a norwegian language tutor in the leicester/loughborough area to teach me survival norwegian before i move there in the summer. so if you have any friends who are norwegian or speak norwegian then contact me on [email protected]. they don't have to be qualified or anything just a fluent speaker, and of course i am willing to pay. cheers.

Raw Dykes Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 I've Danish friends. It's all the same I don't think that's as bad as you think. I've got Danish friends, as well. They said they can understand Swedish and Norwegian. Those three languages are quite similar, I think. Finnish isn't though, apparently.

Posted 6 January 2013 Posted 6 January 2013 Try facebook or meetup.com, join Norwegian groups see if anyone is willing to have a Skype conversation, either as an English Norwegian exchange or you pay them for their time. Edit: this is assuming you've learnt the basics and now want to practice actually speaking to someone. If not buy a book and get studying.
