MrFox781 Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 Well pissed off, booking two days off work for the cardiff game is absolute pointless now.
lestajigs Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 Well pissed off, booking two days off work for the cardiff game is absolute pointless now. Me too, might just get absolutely steaming at the Huddersfield game to compensate
promised land Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 If we draw Man U at home tomorrow nobody is going to give a shit about any of this. Luton will draw Man Utd at Old Trafford, they always get lower league sides, wasn't it Crawley the other season? We'll get Blackburn, Barnsley or Boro if we get through!
Bluetintedspecs Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 If we draw Man U at home tomorrow nobody is going to give a shit about any of this. Exactly, but I'm sure the fvckers will find something else to moan about
Leicesterpool Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 Another idea would starting selling the tickets for the fifth round from the week commencing the 4th January, if we lose to Huddersfield then fans who bought tickets can get a refund. Also if we do lose to Huddersfield then we could use that weekend to play Cardiff! Another suggestion is to play Huddersfield this Tuesday and moving the wolves game to a friday,
lestajigs Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 My guess is the 5th round will be played when we are meant to be playing charlton on the 19th
Guest kristianity77 Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 If we get one of the worse sides left at home in the next round i for one wont be disappointed as it gives us a good shot a getting to the Quarters, one away from a game at Wembley
Leicesterpool Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 Isn't there anyway that if enough fans complained and requested the replay to be moved on the 5th or 6th Feb, they would move it? I know Chris Wood might not be available, but though to be honest despite him scoring today i don't think he would be needed for the replay anyway.
Tom17LCFC Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 Got Huddersfield away right so I'm gonna predict Arsenal home.
lestajigs Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 Got Huddersfield away right so I'm gonna predict Arsenal home. Would love this
Dan Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 All this over some fvcking pointless international friendly. Utter fvcking shite.

lestajigs Posted 26 January 2013 Posted 26 January 2013 What world do you live in? Brumie world!! 😳😳
The Year Of The Fox Posted 27 January 2013 Author Posted 27 January 2013 All this over some fvcking pointless international friendly. Utter fvcking shite. In fairness its a FIFA International date, not neccessarily our FA lining their pockets again
1964FOX Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Not happy hotel for Cardiff is booked and non refundable. I would have thought this would guarantee us having to play Sunday or even Monday night which will mean Charlton being postponed. Whatever happens this does not look good as we will have up to three games to reschedule for Midweek evening kick off, expect a very busy March. I'm sure it's been mentioned in other threads but the blame has to be with Nigel for not starting with a full strength team, very bad tactics considering the knock on effect it will now have.
davieG Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Well if we draw Man U tomorrow, and we have to play them on the following saturday, then selling the tickets in the 3 days before the game is going to be interesting, especially as most people will not be able to to go down until after work. Could be long queues and plenty of overtime for the ticket staff! That's how it used to be when replays were played the first Wednesday after the Saturday draw.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 27 January 2013 Author Posted 27 January 2013 That's how it used to be when replays were played the first Wednesday after the Saturday draw. Its really no big deal is it? Tonight both us and Huddersfield will contact the club one of us will play and sort out all details- prices, dates whatever. Everyone has a mobile phone or internet access nowadays. People make moutains out of molehills
1964FOX Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Tickets could easily be sold prior to the replay Starting Monday 11th for priority 1 which would have general sale for the Friday before the game on the normal 5th round date which has to be the Sunday for us. Problem will be if it's Man U at home all the part time glory supporters will be panicking about getting a ticket to see their team - not sure which one that will be though.
Ric Flair Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 I got a fairly decent slating when I tried to explain to everyone what a disruptive folly this cup run could turn out to be to our primary goal from this season. How I wish we had lost 1-0 Agreed. We don't need this shit. I hate games in hand.
BoneDog Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Should have played a stronger starting XI yesterday and maybe we would have already been in the hat, without having this replay hassle.
Corky Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Should have played a stronger starting XI yesterday and maybe we would have already been in the hat, without having this replay hassle. Bang on. No surprise we improved when Wood, Nugent and Drinkwater came on.

How I wish we had lost 1-0 It doesn't make a huge amount of difference, as the Blackburn game would be moved anyway because they went through.
smudger63 Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 That's how it used to be when replays were played the first Wednesday after the Saturday draw. Back in the day though, people would just turn up and pay on the day in general, and wouldn`t need a ticket for a replay. Was it Arsenal in the second replay down here in 1975, where we had a full house and had to lock out fans outside, or is my old mind playing tricks?
