lovelcfc Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Would anyone else agree that this is our biggest chance of getting back to the premier league since we were relegated? Second in the league in january is pretty impressive considering the rubbish we had last season, just hope we don't bottle it near the end
Surreyfox Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 And the award for stating the obvious goes to.... Haha what i was thinking!
lovelcfc Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 I know it may seem obvious but people still think that's its unlikely that we'll go up due to many things
Far Post Gerry Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 It would be if people stopped bloody jinxing it.
Jimbo Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 The commentator jinxed it Thursday night. Just watched the highlights on sky and he said that the last time we reached 50 points by that stage of the season we were promoted. So if we don't go up then we can blame him
jonthefox Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 With our points tally at the minute, i'd say all we've done is avoid relegation.
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 I now think it's likely that we'll go up this year, we're slightly better than the teams below us IMO so I think we'll do it. There is a lot of games to be played of course as I'm sure people will be only too happy to point out but I genuinely think we'll be in the Prem next season.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 We're second in February too btw. Happy days
Fox92 Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 I agree. Even during our play off season, I wasn't this confident in the team. I think this is our best team in recent years, and we have a solid backbone throughout the side with the likes of Morgan, Drinkwater and Nugent.
Langley Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 What I am worrying about is needing a win at the last game of the season at a ground where we never win, Florist.

Second in the league in january is pretty impressive considering the rubbish we had last season, just hope we don't bottle it near the end Id say it was closer in the playoff campaign
z-layrex Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Can we just not talk about it and stop jinxing it?
Carl the Llama Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Can we just not talk about it and stop jinxing it? No. We have to be Billy Big Bollocks and make ourselves look like idiots when it goes wrong between now and Forest, didn't you get the memo?
Area88 Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Would anyone else agree that this is our biggest chance of getting back to the premier league since we were relegated? Second in the league in january is pretty impressive considering the rubbish we had last season, just hope we don't bottle it near the end I agree but I would say it's our biggest chance and possibly our only chance. How many times as a side had a great season and then not being able to follow it up? Although with Leicester, it could be an exception because we have the right manager.Everything is clicking perfectly at the moment. Like I said in another thread, the longer we stay in the top 2, the more positive effect it has on the team and soon clubs will fear playing us. If we beat Peterborough... which is highly likely. I think the forum will become extremely positive, the effects of the team will rub off here.
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Do you know when you just got that feeling we are gonna get promoted this season. I got it, a bit... It's been so fookin long I nearly forgot how it feels.
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Can we just not talk about it and stop jinxing it? No, because talking about it has no impact whatsoever and it's something that people want to discuss. Don't really get how anyone can be negative about a topic like this.
ousefox Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 I genuinely think we'll go up now, and i'm usually so pessimistic about us! I'd be absolutely gutted if we didn't now, even though it's very possible.
dayday Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 I would be more confident if we were out of the cup,as much as i like a cup run i would sooner be out of it this season.
Guest ttfn Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Let's see where we are at the end of March. I'd not be very confident with anything less than a 4 point cushion given our run in.
Bausor Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 And the award for stating the obvious goes to.... Your such a nob
Bayfox Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Your such a nob Yeah bit he is itk. And will tell you about a transfer target. After he has signed.
CCFCChampions Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 I don't rate Bruce and for this reason I think you will finish above Hull. Watford are a good side but now you have a game in hand I dont see them catching you. I think when we play on the 9th April we could well be celebrating. Good luck for the run in.

Why..... thought St Davids day was 1st of March?
