BoneDog Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Is this honky going to be doing any time then or what? Not kept up with events so don't know what the crack is.
Fox92 Posted 1 June 2013 Posted 1 June 2013 Is this honky going to be doing any time then or what? Not kept up with events so don't know what the crack is. Hopefully. But considering he is such a athlete, he'll probably end up doing 3 years or something.
Bert Posted 1 June 2013 Posted 1 June 2013 If this wasn't the case of an athlete, said person would already be a few months into their life sentence.

StanSP Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Trial starting today. Some of to be broadcast live on South African TV. Apparently, (from Andrew Harding, BBC reporter in court), Steenkamp's and Pistorius' family are sitting on the same bench inside the court . Awkward!
Stadt Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 In SA there's a 24 hour news station dedicated to the trial apparently.
Beliall Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 How can you plead not guilty to having ammo when you admit shooting someone?
Beliall Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Dont think I could ever murder anyone. Courts too bloody boring
StanSP Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 How can you plead not guilty to having ammo when you admit shooting someone? He pleaded not guilty to having a firearm and shooting out of an open sun roof on a car (not sure what that relates to in this case though). He admits shooting someone, but not murdering Steenkamp.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Not read the thread for people's thoughts on this, but do people think hes guilty? Looking at him I really don't think he is.
Beliall Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 If hes not guilty of murder hes guilty of being a fvcking idiot
Witch Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Not read the thread for people's thoughts on this, but do people think hes guilty? Looking at him I really don't think he is. Sure. Because the best way to assess someone's guilt is to look at them. Hint: look at the facts, man, not at the Pistorius's mug.
Bert Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Not read the thread for people's thoughts on this, but do people think hes guilty? Looking at him I really don't think he is. Just from what's gone on in the media I don't see how he can be anything but guilty.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 I'm not sure how they prove that guilt though? He's admitted to firing his weapon. They can't ever know for certain if he knew who he was firing at.

Its probably a better method than leaving it to a third world corrupt country with a jury and media baying for blood.

To gain access to the block where he lived you could only get in by being signed in by security apparently. Surely knowing this - How could it be a burglar?

Surely knowing this - How could it be a burglar? I see your point obviously but again, a burglar isn't going to go through the front door. Not a good un anyway.

Bert Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 I see your point obviously but again, a burglar isn't going to go through the front door. Not a good un anyway. When my house got burgled the twat came in through the front door. Took our tv the bastard!
