LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 He has pace and better ball control than Dyer, Vardy, Wood, and Futacs and actually looks more composed on the ball than Konchesky......it would be a shame to loose him. Wood? No he doesn't! He doesn't look more composed, we've seen him in that position for what 3 games? 1 against a shocking ipswich side.. He'll go, if United want him they'll get him. If we say no then United can easily not let us loan or bring in their own players..
ty fox Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 None of them are strikers though, Schlupp is. walcott was a striker at southampton powell was at crewe
dmayne7 Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 irony ? It wasn't Ironic of me to use the correct English nor was it Ironic of you to use incorrect English; just stupid . Do you even know what Irony is? Anyway, glad Jeff is back. Hopefully he can get a few games during the run-in.

Tielemans63 Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Ferguson getting rid of Rooney to make room for Jeff, quite clearly.

Leicester Lass Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Back at LCFC according to Stringer, expects him to replace Konch. Not sure of any impact, if any, on potential negotiations.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 According to Stringer Schlupp back at City and cud replace Konchesky if he fails to recover from Hamstring injury

ty fox Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 good news for dyer then i felt so sorry for him tuesday
foxesfan1989 Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 It's amazing what a spell out of the team can do for a players reputation.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 good news for dyer then i felt so sorry for him tuesday Same here God knows how a situation can develop whereby we have to use Dyer as a left back/ left wing back. Ridiculous...
ty fox Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Same here God knows how a situation can develop whereby we have to use Dyer as a left back/ left wing back. Ridiculous... he looked petrified tuesday you could see he was way outta his depth. i did think that whitbread used to be a left back but i think im wrong
ty fox Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Isn't Whitbread shit though? at least he knows the position well so i thought. honestly dyer was clueless but again no fault of his own he was out of his normal role
Corky Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 at least he knows the position well so i thought. honestly dyer was clueless but again no fault of his own he was out of his normal role Fair enough, it's just that when Whitbread was playing he got no end of stick for his efforts.
Babylon Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 It's amazing what a spell out of the team can do for a players reputation. It is amazing isn't it, Schlupp has transformed from a player many thought would be best served going on loan, to a wonder kid who only a fool wouldn't play... without even kicking a ball outside the development squad.
shiv Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 Would like to see Dyer back on the left wing if Schlupp is gonna be playing left back. They linked up well together last time. Not sure if I'd drop Marshall or Knocky though!

Not sure if I'd drop Marshall or Knocky though! I would do exactly that .... we need something different and a spark and the change back to those two and their pace could be just the ticket to get some confidence back.
Thracian Posted 7 March 2013 Posted 7 March 2013 According to Stringer Schlupp back at City and cud replace Konchesky if he fails to recover from Hamstring injury That took some working out!

Not sure if I'd drop Marshall or Knocky though! I'd drop either of them for Dyer. Both are much easier to contain even when they are playing relatively well. i just don't understand the perpetual knocking of Dyer. They've had their moments but both Marshall and Knockaert have been disappointing most of the time of late - Knockaert since all the Arsenal publicity. Truth is we need Dyer for his pace and the extra defender he occupies.
ozleicester Posted 8 March 2013 Posted 8 March 2013 So Schlupp gets another crack at 1st team. After all of the comments here over recent times...he is going to need to have a blinder

I personally think Knoackaert is wasted on the left wing - he was outstanding when he played just behind Nuge and was spraying passes all over the pitch. Plus, he's a bit of a liability when defending.
