What do people think about Roberto Di Mateo coming in?

Would he want too after winning champs league?

He did well at MK and did a ok job at west brom. I know many baggies fans who liked him.

Is he too big now?

Winning cups and leagues that mean little given the competition. He's winning a one team league for the next three years, where it might eventually start to become the two team league it was before. Any manager wants to test himself in challenging leagues and the SPL isn't that for Celtic.

Celtic's run in the CL has been a bit of a freak, Scottish clubs have been struggling to make the group stage in recent years never mind the knockout rounds.

This is as far as he'll ever take Celtic, and he's had a pretty torrid time of it up there with death threats and attempted mail bombings. It's not so far fetched he could come south of the border, especially to a club where he enjoyed great success.

Given his backrgound, Celtic is his dream job.

I think he would only leave Celtic if he was sacked.

I can't imagine that LCFC would be an attractive proposition at all for him at present.

I agree with this tbh.

I think we're being very optimistic if we think any of Lennon, Di Matteo or O'Neill would come. I think Macca D is our best realistic option. Unless we wait til the end fo the season.

Twitter doesn't 'say' anything. It's just a communication medium, like this place. The source is important. As far as I can see nobody in football or journalism is saying he has gone.

That ship sailed last summer. If Rangers were still in the SPL, with rivalry as intense as it was a couple of seasons ago, then Lennon might have considered a move back south, as much for health and family reasons as much as football ones.

But now Celtic are without question the biggest force in Scotland, financially stable (especially after the Champions League run) and with a stream of young players coming through, he knows he has the chance to build a truly formidable set-up there. Hard to see how he'd ever pass that chance up - certainly not for a lower-league club.

If i was the leicester owners I do anything to get MON as for one: He'd sort this miss out (I hope!) and two: boost season ticket sales for next season. simples!

The club should offer MON a offer he can't refuse plus give him a huge bonus if he fires us into the premier league within a year. Also convince him that Leicester will get into the champions league within six years.

Top should send one of his henchman in and place a horses head next to MON pillow tonight. That should do it.

No matter what happens we are screwed. The extent of the club's debt is massive and unsustainable. That is all.

The only person we are in debt to Is the owners, the debt isn't the problem it's whether they get bored and fancy writing off 100m (unlikely).

With FFP coming they have to run the club on money the club makes. So they won't have to keep pumping money in for much longer. They can sit back and let things run its course getting 8% on their loan for the next 15 years until we got promoted if they wanted to. Clearly not ideal, but better than forgetting £100m.

Hey kitchandro .... I was right about sacking pearson hey ? The word you looking for is sorry ...

You were? Well, I've not see anything concrete yet....

It has been reported on Twitter hundreds of times over a long period, so what is your point exactly?
