Ricky Hill Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Hearing from sources that Pearson has gone, announcement to be made in due course. O'Neill has been approached. Yes, this is vague and probably not the most surprising information, but just telling you what I've heard from a VERY close source inside the club.
mrmagoomc4 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 what ever happens pearson stays or goes konch can get tae **** he is total shit
west country fox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Go now Pearson pease resign or be sacked, the team at present is only going in one direction and you are clueless to stop it.
Happy Fox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Hopefully the Thais appoint the right manager Tbh realistic or unrealistic choices of managers Any one out of Brian McDermott, Martin O'Neill, Mick McCarthy, Roberto Di Matteo, Neil Lennon Would be a significant improvement on Nigel Pearson.
alwyne webster Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 GET RID NOW PLEASE OWNERS,WE CANT TAKE ANYMORE

Then I will feel like i can finally crack open a celebratory beer
Ricky Hill Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 The ketchup bottle in the canteen? No, that would be a sauce.
The Guvnor Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Football is a result's led industry and there is no room for sentiment, our last 11 matches haven't been a blip they have been a catastrophe. The Thais have invested heavily and I would be amazed if they are not already making their farewell to Nigel script.
Guest Bilo Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 You'd argue we have more chance of landing O'Neill now than we did when we binned off Sven. Going somewhere where he'd be genuinely worshipped after having a bad time at Sunderland and being criminally unappreciated at Villa would be good for him.
LJS Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 No, that would be a sauce. Any idea what 'due course' means? Are we likely to hear anything this evening?
Kitchandro Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 If we get O'Neill....well, I'll let THEBIGJOHNSTEADER fill in the rest.
Ricky Hill Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Any idea what 'due course' means? Are we likely to hear anythingmthis evening? Not a clue, all I know is what I put on the post. But the info is very reliable, obviously I can't reveal the identity of who's told me, but he did tell me Pearson was being reappointed 2 weeks before he was!
Jon the Hat Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I cant see any way he will still be here come tomorrow evening. There is slight chance that a new man can come in and get us into the playoffs, but without a change it just is not going to happen. There is little to lose now, and still the prize of playoff chance to gain. Nigel has had enough time to show that he knows what he is doing, yet we find ourselves in a slump again. I can only conclude he doesn't have the skills or the staff to get this group playing like they can. Whether we a pitching for MON, RDM, McDermott or someone from overseas, there has to be a change now.
RowlattsFox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 This 'never go back' I keep hearing is rubbish. If MON returned and was shit then it wouldn't change anything for me. He'll be still remembered as the Manager of our best years in my lifetime, he'd just be a little shit then second time. Same as it was for Dickov, was awful 2nd time round but I still remember how good he was first time round.

And I wouldn't expect you to reveal your source although given that you wee told about Pearson coming in previously I could probably guess. Keep us posted mate.
Happy Fox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Ricky Hill you are a Godsend pal now I can go for a shit!

LCFC FOX Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Just a thought but maybe they aren't sacking him because they can't afford to waste the money on paying him off? Would be around 1-2 million I bet

I hope your source isn't the same as mine, cus I was told he has been given till the end of season, at which point he has agreed to resign if were not promoted!!!!!

Will do, a friend of a friend also knows his son pretty well, so might get some more in coming hours/days.

Just heard he is gone too, lets hope martin is interested because the options elsewhere arent particularly inspiring.

RowlattsFox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 How does it work if Pearson is sacked straight after the game, does he have to make his own way home Although isn't he Sheffield based? Surely they'd have to sack him in person tomorrow.
