Ozwin Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Someone explain what she did exactly to divide opinion so much. Politics has never been my forte.
Kitchandro Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Well, here's my plans for the evening - https://www.facebook...33717756645292/ You were born in 1993
Uncle Albert Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 If the FA has any sense they will scrap the minutes silence/applause for the cow at Reading this Saturday, Liverpool fans will have flars the lot! Exposed the lies before the bitch died!
The Doctor Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 You were born in 1993 Indeed I was - now then, get your jelly and ice cream. I'm having a cracking lunch
yorkie1999 Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Someone explain what she did exactly to divide opinion so much. Politics has never been my forte. Well for a start when i was at school she stopped free milk.
harwich fox Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 There is a tax avoiding racist, rabid right wing Gold coast who lurks on Bentleys I wonder if this one is related.
Kitchandro Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Indeed I was - now then, get your jelly and ice cream. I'm having a cracking lunch I can't afford it sadly. 'Cos of Thatcher, obvs.
Finnegan Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Someone explain what she did exactly to divide opinion so much. Politics has never been my forte. Denounced society or any sense of community, devastated whole sections of the North and Wales by shutting down industry and raw material production and drafted in soldiers dressed as coppers to beat the **** out of anyone who argued. Oh but it's alright, she saved the Falklands. Will be fondly remembered by very few but the most loyal Tories, north of Watford gap.
The Doctor Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 I can't afford it sadly. 'Cos of Thatcher, obvs. I went straight down the shops when I heard the news, Ice cream and jelly for lunch,
Tempwan Yierban Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Will Hefner reissue their single? Would link to it but too lazy.

Maybe they should put a statue of her on the falklands with her fat arse pointing at argentina
MooseBreath Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Someone explain what she did exactly to divide opinion so much. Politics has never been my forte. Everyone who understands and appreciates business and the economy and the profound impact they have on our lives is likely to be a Thatcher supporter to at least some degree. The socialists, champagne or otherwise, the thick, the soft, and the dirty hippies who don't understand how the world works are likely to say they don't support thatcher, even if they don't really know what she did or why.
pSinatra Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Thatcher the Milk Snatcher. I would like to thank her for this. There was nothing worse than being forced to drink warm milk that had been sat out in the sun all morning. Personally, I don't understand all the hatred for her. I'm 41 & I remember the day in 1979 she became Prime Minister, but maybe I'm not old enough to understand properly? I don't see her as any different to the rest of the lying, scheming, egotistical, self-serving wankers
Tempwan Yierban Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Oh alright - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZj5cY18yFk
Babylon Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Well for a start when i was at school she stopped free milk. I never drank milk, I always took my own bottle of Kiora... probably why I have no opinion on the woman really.
Finnegan Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 You were born in 1993 Exactly, making him one of the generations that grew up in the wake of Thatcher's turbulent effect on the country. I'm not quite comfortable jumping on the bandwagoning, Major's the earliest PM I really remember, I'm not going to look the older members of my family in the eye and tell them I completely understand their contempt. But at the same time, belittling Al for disliking the woman because you don't think he's old enough just makes you look daft, not him. I assume you detest Hitler and Stalin? I assume you've respect for Luther King and Nelson Mandela? Equally impressed by Hurst, Moore, Hunt and co'. Lots of things happened before you were old enough to remember, it doesn't mean you stick your head in the ground and refuse to formulate an opinion on them.
The Doctor Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 I wonder if I could get away with playing that on the radio tonight...
yorkie1999 Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 I never drank milk, I always took my own bottle of Kiora... probably why I have no opinion on the woman really. Its too orangy for crows, just for me and my dog i'll be you're dog woof woof woof woof woof woof
The Year Of The Fox Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 I respect her enormously for when it came to retaking the Falklands, anything else despite being from a mining town has never got my back up. RIP
sdb Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 This whole 'you're too young to remember' argument is a bit shit. Can we not have an opinion on the decisions that greatly affected our friends and family?! Not to mention the fact that her regime changed the country we grow/grew up in. Can we not have an opinion on historical figures? I'd rather Gove died tbh. We're probably gonna have 2 weeks of Thatcher loving on TV now.
Babylon Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Its too orangy for crows, just for me and my dog i'll be you're dog woof woof woof woof woof woof I was a member of the Kiora club, epic. This whole 'you're too young to remember' argument is a bit shit. Problem is there are a lot of people who don't understand why people hate Thatcher and just jump on the bandwagon as it's what all the cool kids are doing.
MC Prussian Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Can't tell I've been affected by her politics, but I do remember watching her on the news, alongside Kohl, Mitterrand, Gorbatchev and Craxi. Those were the days. Just before the Iron Curtain fell.
