This whole 'you're too young to remember' argument is a bit shit. Can we not have an opinion on the decisions that greatly affected our friends and family?! Not to mention the fact that her regime changed the country we grow/grew up in. Can we not have an opinion on historical figures? I'd rather Gove died tbh. Reminds me of all the Americans celebrating in the streets waving their stupid flags when Bin Laden was killed. Odd.

If you can't at least recognize - from either side of the political spectrum - why the woman hugely polarizes and divides opinion then you've either not lived through it or not read enough.

The bias generalizations that come around when a political figure of the past or present is mentioned is predictable and slightly amusing. Despite not agreeing with her political values I can't celebrate her death.

That horrible woman lied and tried to blame my family member and other people who passed away for their own deaths. Look what happened the bitch was proven wrong, this woman shouldn't have a state funeral, she should be stoned. People have their own opinions obviously but I tell you what I'm happy she is dead, it's been a long time coming. I'm just glad she was alive when the truth came out! If her funeral happens next Monday then it will be disgusting.

I understand respect for the dead and the fact that many loved her, but there was much she did that damaged the country that is being ignored. Dangerously close to whitewashing history at the moment.
