Guest Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Reports of Margaret Thatcher dying this morning of a stroke
Gold Coast Fox Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Wow... Some of you are very sad people. Let's celebrate the death of an elderly woman? You might not agree with everything she did but she wore her heart on her sleeve and did what she though was best for her country. I hope she gets the great send off and recognition she deserves.

Buried in an unmarked lime pit.

I agree. She will get negative comments but how many of those commenting in such a way will be of an age that actually remembers the state this country was in in the seventies? RIP
David Guiza Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 I don't think the fact she was a frail elderly lady will come as any consolation to the families of victims who were part of Thatcher cover ups. She was one of a kind that's for certain, she did some incredible things for this country, both brilliant and horrific. Don't think we'll see anything like her again.
yorkie1999 Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Buried in an unmarked lime pit. Hope not, because the kids of the 80's who remember how this scheming bitch systematically destroyed industry in this country and using the police as her bully boys, won't know which grave to dance on...
davieG Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 I agree. She will get negative comments but how many of those commenting in such a way will be of an age that actually remembers the state this country was in in the seventies? RIP I remember it well but going to the other extreme wasn't the answer so instead of 'powerful' unions we now have overly 'powerful' businesses/banks.
Dan Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 Can never make my mind up on her to be honest. Seems to have had more bollocks than the majority of leaders (ironically) but had to make a lot of very unpopular decisions. Can definitely see why people hate her but can see why she's liked as well.
Captain... Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 That she has died is irrelevant as her spirit lives on through Cameron and his cronies.
