FoxesAreBlue Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 This thread will probably fall on its arse, but basically it's just one af random stuff that you may not know, some life tips if you will. Ill get the ball rolling with an example that I found out today: Did you know that if you put a slice of bread into a box of cookies that they will stay soft a delicious like cookies should be? No bread and they go all hard and awful like no cookie ever should. I found this out as I waned to preserve the ones I got from work and one of my staff told me, happy days!
FoxesAreBlue Posted 11 April 2013 Author Posted 11 April 2013 What's the science? Not a clue, but I tried it and it worked! EDIT: The moisture in the bread is transferred to the cookies keeping them soft. If they do start to get 'ard, replace the slice of bread. Thanks google!
Jimothy Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 If you put raw liver on a plate in the fridge, next to a glass of milk over night, when you wake up in the morning the liver will have moved towards the milk. Never tried it, heard it on the radio a while back.

Zingari Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 Did you know that razors blades will sharpen themselves if you put them under a pyramid shaped glass thingy in the full moonlight . Or alternatively you could just buy a new razor blade , it's a lot less trouble
21st Century Fox Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 If you put a spoon in your champagne bottle, it keeps it fizzy for up to 24 hours longer http://lifehacker.co...ly-with-a-spoon Mythbusters busted that. Placing a silver spoon in a bottle of champagne can keep it bubblier for longer. BUSTED The spoon actually reduces the fizziness of champagne. In a blind taste test when compared to several controls (opened champagne, re-corked champagne and unopened champagne) both Adam and Jamie ranked the spooned champagne the lowest in terms of fizziness.
