Kitchandro Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 It's all about Natalie. Edit - and when she got feisty in the boardroom this week it was sensational. Women crying turns you on? You rapdy seedbag.....
StanSP Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 It's all about Natalie. Edit - and when she got feisty in the boardroom this week it was sensational. She was right on the money though! It's that shrill, shrieking voice of hers! It's quite terrifying in some ways!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 June 2013 Posted 1 June 2013 Dr. Leah is perfect, actually perfect. Miles or Jordan to win though, both top chaps. Got a sneaky feeling someone like Francesca will come in from nowhere and snatch it, though. Not that I'm moaning, she's got a ruddy cracking Sammy Ameobi on her.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 June 2013 Author Posted 1 June 2013 Myles will win I'm pretty adamant on that. Rises above the bickering due to his age and, I didnt realise this at the time, but he's not been on the losing team yet.
Kitchandro Posted 1 June 2013 Posted 1 June 2013 I'm not convinced by Myles yet. The Welsh Dracula has a good chance IMO.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 1 June 2013 Posted 1 June 2013 Yeah I think the Welsh fella' is prolly the favorite at the moment.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 1 June 2013 Posted 1 June 2013 The Welsh Dracula I think he's going to go the way of Stuart Baggs the Brand to be honest
MooseBreath Posted 1 June 2013 Posted 1 June 2013 The Welsh guy hasn't done anything yet. Don't think he has been in the boardroom. Let's be honest if you make yourself look like that then you're obviously a complete ****ing lunatic. Wouldn't be surprised to see him implode when the pressure is on, the creepy little cumrag.

That's a good thing though. Other than with his appearance he seems fairly level headed to me, Myles on the other hand has made errors and I wasn't impressed with him as a team leader this week.

Didn't he make that table that turned into a chair which Lord Sugar seemed to be pretty impressed with?
Captain... Posted 2 June 2013 Posted 2 June 2013 Didn't he make that table that turned into a chair which Lord Sugar seemed to be pretty impressed with? Yeah, I was going to say that, not too many others have come in for praise so far, normally by this point a few people have shone in certain areas, such as pitching or negotiating, Neil looks like a decent businessman with good negotiating skills and Rebecca has had some good sales, but other than that it's generally a competition to see who makes the least stupid decision. There is still plenty of time to make an impact but so far it is fairly slim pickings.
ealingfox Posted 3 June 2013 Posted 3 June 2013 That chair/table idea was brilliant to be fair to him, absolutely walked that task. Our Ian made it onto this list, go on Ian! Didn't know he said that http://www.buzzfeed.com/lukelewis/the-16-stupidest-things-ever-said-on-the-apprentice 13. Ian Stringer.
NewburyFox Posted 4 June 2013 Posted 4 June 2013 Alex or Neil to win for me. Once you get past Neil's arrogance, I think he'll be a pretty decent business man.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 5 June 2013 Author Posted 5 June 2013 Is Neil the only well spoken Scouse ever?
MooseBreath Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Hoping that Louisa bint gets fired. She is a disgusting piece of shit. But the camp guy has no right to still be there. He is the thickest person I've ever seen on the show.
isaidno Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Jason will go as soon as he ends up in the board room. He's been lucky so far
anotherharboroughfox Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Jason will go as soon as he ends up in the board room. He's been lucky so far He's literally useless. He does nothing wrong.. because he does nothing.
StanSP Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Not sure the correct person got fired today. Despite Rebecca being quieter in the past few weeks, I don't think she was wholly to blame for the loss of the task. Francesca simply brought the wrong person back in to the boardroom - had she brought Jordan in, she would have given herself more ammunition to fight her corner and directed the financial errors towards him. The organisation from Francesca from the start was lacking, and it's why they had no clear plan on the event day. The theme was lost from the beginning and there was a distinct lack of focus. Poor decisions from team members were made and ultimately she has the last say - they overspent in the wrong departments and the effort to stay committed to the event and the task as a whole was lacking in general. Compare this to the other team who were willing to dress up, put in a bit more and actually integrate themselves on a personal level paid off. Leah was a lucky one though. Similar to Francesca, everything just went pear-shaped from the start and if it wasn't for Neil (and Myles), they would have been struggling big time. Leah has gone down in my pecking order of candidates who I expect to be pushing for a final spot. Consequently, Neil has gone up - I wasn't keen at first cos I thought he was fairly arrogant and too brash and brazen. But he reined himself in in this task and he was the star of the show really. Luisa did make me laugh in a bit of shock saying she 'doesn't like the corporate world' because of all the bullshit that's spouted about. I'm not quite sure what she thinks she'll be going in to if she wins, then. She is very direct and can be a bit brutally honest at times, but I don't think she'll make it to the final.

Agree with this, same with Zee last week, if he'd brought Kurt back after the cm/inches thing I think Kurt would have been chopped. Still think Francesca should have gone this week though, the clients were all praising the motivational speaker and I don't think Rebecca dropped the ball that badly with that - they should have found a cheaper one though! Surely 600 quid isn't the going rate? Think I've found my career if it is.... Was also desperately hoping Leah's team had lost so she would go, she's an absolute bitch and it was a pleasure to find out that she's also full of shit.
Saxondale Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Is Neil the only well spoken Scouse ever? Given that he's not a Scouser, no.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Myles and Jordan have always been 'my boys' but Neil seems to be turning from insufferable turd to decent chap, too. He won Leah tonight's task. Don't rate the rest of them, at all. Leah and Luisa are fantastic but clueless - the rest are terrible bar Alex the Welshman.

I disagree when you say that Kurt should have been fired over the cm/inches thing. For a start blokes always get them mixed up! And secondly it did not cost them the failure of the task. It cost them £10-£15 at most (I'm not exactly sure but i know it wasnt a lot). Therefore if he hasn't made this mistake they still would have lost... Glad Leah didnt lose last night or she was a gonner! Phew

I thought she took the right 2 people back in, Luisa for the cup cakes and Rebecca for the wine tasting, more so than the motivational speaker, if they had chosen more suitable activities, or added a twist they would have been ok. Don't think Jordan did much wrong, yeah he was finance guy but they didn't massively overspend, the problem was the lack of a clear direction or theme and inappropriate activities. Personally I would have fired Francesca for the task and then Luisa for just being a moron, Rebecca actually seems like someone you could work with.

Personally I would have fired Francesca for the task and then Luisa for just being a moron, Rebecca actually seems like someone you could work with. I think they did. £600 for a motivational speaker? £300 for grocery shopping? I'm not sure what the others spent on their props and food & drink expenses but they definitely did not spend £600 for someone to motivate the bank managers. Very clever by Endeavour. So I think they did overspend. Without either of those expenses, they perhaps would have won. Luisa did sum it up well to be fair - Rebecca suggested the idea wine/speaker, and Francesca ultimately accepted it. But as I said in addition to the overspending, there was a clear lack of focus and theme definitely. They didn't relate to the 'back to school' theme at all, and even when they did it wasnt' with full conviction. I do agree that Rebecca seems to be the one who'd be easier to work with, but she didn't put herself out there in any of the tasks as much as others did. She didn't make herself known for the right reasons. I think when Sugar was talking about his gut instinct on who to fire, he had Rebecca's lack of contribution in previous tasks in mind. Apparently Luisa has something going on with Jordan? Just something I've heard but nothing comes to mind in terms of seeing anything on the show to make me think that.
