Charl91 Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Leah was blatantly trying to get myles off I wish she'd get me off
MooseBreath Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 I wish she'd get me off I don't know man. Her miserable face is hot, but when she speaks or in particular when she smiles her lips contort awfully and she starts looking like a fish.

kingfox Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Sad to see Alex go, real character. But one of the lads will definitely win it.
SystonFox Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Neil will win. People have been saying it for a few weeks but its slowly coming to light for me. He is the man, only serious competition from Myles Monaco so I'd say its purely down to business plan. Unless Leah's business plan is to lez off with the other two I can't see her winning

Ricey Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 I thought Neil's team got lucky last night as it's seems bordering on cheating to stand there at the pitch and claim 'oh yeah, we'll put more flavour in afterwards'. Knowing full well they'd never have to worry about that. Their meal tasted off nothing but they didn't get punished for it. Also Lord Sugar is getting more hypocritical with each series. Last episode he had a go at them for listening too much to the focus group, fast forward a week and he's having a go at them for not listening to the focus group enough! He just targets decisions that only seem wrong in hindsight, I'd love him to do one of these tasks.

There's such small margins in these things, and it's alright for him to say what they 'obviously' should have done, in hindsight, but if he were doing the tasks I doubt he'd have a clue either.

Maybe it is because of the format of the tasks, but in real life if you were trying to secure a contract with a retailer as big as Asda or Morrisons you would follow any suggestions they make before the product goes live. Not really cheating as they would have room to do that in real business, having made that room for themselves with a good brand and pitch. Come on, last night was again shocking from both teams. One utterly crap brand idea and one utterly crap product. Been happening throughout the series, these candidates are just shit. Could you not tell from the word go that a food product called 'Deadly Dinners', with the word horrible in the tagline and a skull on the front was going to fail? Anyone could see that. Absolutely bizarre that Myles pushed that idea through considering he has kids, did he not ask himself at any point whether he would buy it for his kids? I think Jordan will win it to be honest, hasn't slipped up at all yet and has contributed every week. Worth adding for everyone that Francesca is still there though...
Bobby Hundreds Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 He makes the decision purely on business plan. He know's who he's going to 'hire' before the "PROCESS" (see gameshow) starts.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 June 2013 Author Posted 28 June 2013 Why Alex allowed himself to be talked out of his idea for this episode I'll never know. To me, it was a cracking idea but deserved to go on the basis that he wasn't strong enough to proceed. I'm in the Myles camp but how the hell he thought it'd be ok putting a skull on the packaging I'll never know.
Soar Fox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Hopefully Jordan gets fired. Didn't look interested in trying to buy decent stock.
Swarles Barkley Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Jordan is just digging a whole for himself in the boardroom
Jimothy Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 So basically Jordan stayed because Sugar had no idea what he was on about!
Soar Fox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 How the hell did Jordan manage to stay. I thought he was a goner when he was explaining his business plan.
Swarles Barkley Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Sugar: jordan youre fir.. Jordan: bleurghhhh Sugar: jordan you make a good point, myles youre fired
Matt Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 YES!!! My favourite task next week...INTERVIEWS! Love that stage! Can't wait!
Bobby Hundreds Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I hope Neckbeard gets rinsed next week. Claude will rip him a new arsehole.
Kitchandro Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 So basically Jordan stayed because Sugar had no idea what he was on about! TBF if he had fired him because he didn't know what he was on about it would have been disgraceful. It is annoying how he just makes assumptions about what people are saying and refuses to let them explain what they mean or make a convincing argument. Although I'm sure that's just for the show.
