peterborofox Posted 4 May 2013 Share Posted 4 May 2013 Kasper 8 - At least two great saves, one right at the death RDL 7 - Worked hard before injury Keane 6 - Henderson got the better of him, lack of experience Morgan 7 - Stopped everything he could, did well after getting booked too Schlupp 7 - Steady all the way Knocky 8 - Great first half, hitting bar etc. Actually thought he was too greedy in the second losing the ball at vital times near the end, but his movement for the goal was superb James 8 - Tackled hard, did well for the goal, getting better and better King 8 - Silent, but great movemnt at times good goal, worked hard with James we were first to the ball mainly Dyer 7 - Faded as usual but gave his all. Loved his celebrations Wood 7 - Link up play was good, certainly couldnt be called lazy today Nugent 7 - Best game in a long time, deserved a goal, did well on wing too. Moore 6- Nothing wrong Kane 6 - ^^^^^^^^ Marshall N/A A great team effort today, not one outstanding player but every perfromance counted, I'd give MOTM to King or James i think. just. Another key thing was sticking to our plan despite conceding goal inside 2mins. Plan was for Dyer to get at them & by all accounts he ripped them a new one for the half. Nugent to get plenty of the ball & he caused real problems too, their keeper made some great saves to keep them in it... as it could have been 3 or 4 to us by halftime We just need to take the chances Vs Watford now and as great a shot-stopper as he is, I'd love it if Schmeichel actually came for crosses - They're our achilles heel at the moment! Schlupp 7 - Very steady performance. Keane 6 - Beaten a lot in the air but never have up. Morgan 7 - Another accomplished display. Knocky 8 - an assist and the winner. Thought he held on to the ball too long at times but came good in the end. Dyer 8 - Gave their full backs all sorts of problems. James 7 - Got stuck and had a major hand in the first. King 8 - Always pops up at the right time. He's been fantastic these past few games. Nuge 7 - Looked the best he's been. Unlucky not to score. Keane-7 lost a few headers but accomplished. Morgan-8 would never have guessed forest were "his" team. Committed. Schlupp-7 looked decent. Defended well. Dyer-7 got into some great positions, not always a final product, but threatening. King-9 grafted his tits off, deserved goal. James-8 played well, thought he'd scored at the death. Knockaert-10. Game meant everything to him, like he'd grown up a city fan. Gave the ball away a few times but also dangerous. Nuge-8 played well, more like the old nuge. Wood-8 missed some great chances today, but all round game was good. Special mention for the assist for the winner- id have smashed it! Moore- 7 good Kane 6 Marshall 6 NP 9- Good subs at good times. Keane 6.5 Struggled in the air a bit today Morgan 8. Class. Love him. They must be so gutted to see him playing so well for us Schlupp 7- Didn't put a foot wrong. James 8- Everywhere again including centre half towards the end King 9- MOTM. LOVE HIM. Dyer 8- I thought he was very dangerous, their full back was terrified of him Knockaert 8- Lost the ball a lot in the 2nd half but so skilful, tries so hard also. They were scared of him Nugent 7.5- Missed some great chances but a much improved display from him Wood 7- I don't think he's fit. Doesn't jump or make it difficult enough for the defenders at the mo. maybe it's his knee though. Great work for the goal Moore -8. Difficult game to come on in, he was superb. Great in the air and battled well Kane 7.5. A cool head when the game needed one Marshy- n/a not on long enough. Nigel Pearson 10. Gave it his all. Dyer 7- Typical Dyer- no end product but rather dangerous James 7.5- Kept the game flowing King 7.5- Same as James Nugent 7- Worked hard, would have scored his chance if he wasn't in a rut.
