And accusing other players of going down "like fairies"- er, Chris Martin anyone?
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Did say before that Bolton are looking very good.. They are, and who do they play this week? Derby
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 http://www.soccerbase.com/teams/team.sd?team_id=1699&teamTabs=results No wonder Millwall fans are so violent. Load of Millwall fans at Leicester train station sat getting the connecting train to Derby, very well behaved, looked hard though!
Munshi Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 They are, and who do they play this week? Derby Signing of Jutekiwitz or however you spell it seems to have inspired them
Out Foxed Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Load of Millwall fans at Leicester train station sat getting the connecting train to Derby, very well behaved, looked hard though! missed a chance for a nawty tear up there.
lcfc81 Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Did say before that Bolton are looking very good.. Did anyone else notice it seems to have coincided with no beckford or mills in the line up?
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Did anyone else notice it seems to have coincided with no beckford or mills in the line up? But with Danns.. who played very well on Saturday.
Buzzell Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Second is just the first loser, who wants to be that? I'd rather come second and go up than slugging it out in the playoffs with the chance of not going up.
Corky Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 The play-offs is the best way to go up. Not sure how finishing 5th is better than 1st but Sky Sports reckon so and that's good enough for me.
Steven Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 But with Danns.. who played very well on Saturday. Is he available for the playoffs.

If you win at Wembley, I believe you recieve more in terms of gate reciepts than the prize money differential between 1st and 5th. That might be crap, but I thought that was the reason.

Super_horns Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Powell fired Not a surprise I guess but fans aren't happy and the new guy is going to have to come in and get results quickly whilst gaining the respect of players.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Powell firedPathetic short sighted shit decisionChrissy P deserves/deserved better
lancyclaret Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Good manager - bad decision. Probably reduces Charlton's chances of avoiding relegation - they finished a very respectable 9th last season.
Buce Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Good manager - bad decision. Probably reduces Charlton's chances of avoiding relegation - they finished a very respectable 9th last season. That's an odd definition of a 'good' manager. Would you describe Dyche that way if Burnley were bottom, having scaled the dizzy heights of ninth last year?
Rincewind Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 What chance has a new manager got in turning things around in 12 games when the present one is struggling to? It will take a couple of games at least to find out which are the best players and formation.
foxer Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Powell fired Well that's a real shame. Hopefully Nige will ask him back here in some capacity until he's ready to manage again. He might not want to of course but potentially worth a shout.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 I think Chris Powell has done just about as well as he can do at a small club with limited resources. However, bringing in a change might freshen them up a little. They've had a generally poor season really. I like Powell as a bloke, but wonder if he's limited as a manager.
WinslowFox Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Wonder if he would be interested in coming back as a coach
