Joke Club

If the rumours are true as looks more likely than ever, the owners are looking for the 5th man in the top job in the 3years since they formed AFI to takeover the club wanting a 'name' manager in place.

In that short time they've built up a running debt total of around £100m... and we still haven't even finished as high as before they bothered! *slow handclap*.

Just how the hell is our club ever expected to build on anything.

Just for once why couldn't we give the other way ago instead of extending this decade of managerial turmoil that has produced **** all!

Why can't we see what managers like McDermott & Mackay have done and build on the playoff 'failure' that was achieved in a manager's first full season, rather than throwing the baby out with the bathwater and starting all over again, again... again

What a laughing stock we are and a pair of naïve twats the owners are.

*raises glass* Here's to yet more transition!

you think the clubs a joke why ,if the owners don't think he's right, they pay the checks, they make the decision.

You may think the owners are a joke, your entitled to that opinion, but for me it doesn't matter who owns, manages, or plays for us, I am proud to be a Leicester fan, and proud of the club, and don't care if people see us as a laughing stock, they were all laughing when we went from second and threw it away, couldn't careless laugh all they want.

The owners own the club, so if it doesn't work they have a choice, see the job through, or sell for a loss, so yes the money is a loan, but if it doesn't work it will cost them millions of there own money.

I think they maybe going round the houses, but I think they will get it right in the end.

I don't think your comments about the club being a joke are right at.

NP should have gone at the International Break, our form has been relegation form since January, only the fact that it was a poor championship kept us anywhere near contention.

Well will the love in for NP stop??

Do the owners have to wait till he takes us back to league 1.

I for one applause them if they have decided to get rid.

I wasn't renewing my ST with him in charge.

If the rumour turns out to be true I'm of to get a new ST, happy day

Poor championship? One of the most competitive in years.

Take us back to league one? Well he's made progress each time he's been here and never ended up near relegation.

Don't worry we won't miss your negative attitude down at the KP if he stays.

Competitive doesn't mean it's not poor, in this season's case it just means no one was particularly good.

WE are a joke club???..have a look at the likes of massive Leeds and wolves, Birmingham etc...then see how much of a joke we are.

Whenever I read this it makes me think think the poster probably hasn't got an ST.

If you were a long-term ST holder you'd recognise that this season has seen some of the most entertaining football played at the KP for donkey's despite the abysmal end to the season.

This. Probably the stupidest, most misguided and vitriolic staple of the boo-boys. The fact that not only has he never suffered relegation as a manager, but has even snatched two different teams in two different leagues from the jaws of relegation on the last day just flies over their heads.

I might have missed the point in this thread, on account of not being arsed to trawl through it, but how does all of us, as supporters, jumping to conclusions based on rumour and hearsay make our club a joke ? No.On second-thoughts, don't bother !

Totally agree he won't get us relegated, but barring a league 1 promotion, what has he achieved, how many promotions has he had.

Said before he's average to good championship manager, but we need better than average to get out of this division.

You pay your money so you have every right to back the manager, the same as the so called boo boys have a right to vent there displeasure if there not happy, and to be fair there has been more to be displeased with.

You call the boo boys stupid, your opinion, but you could turn it round and say the fans that are happy with the season are stupid, being happy with long periods of poor results and performances.

Just looking at it from both side, and not implying anybody is stupid.

Pearson in's will not have any criticism of him, and Pearson outs are not happy, and want him gone.

Nobody knows who will be right or wrong, only time will tell, but it's time to agree to disagree, and whoever is manager we all need to get behind the club, and hope next season is better.

This silly bickering is a bit boring now, I hope the lcfc fans can be once again unite, as I have never seen a manager divide supporters as much as this one.

The "joke club" bit stems from earlier today, when some thought the rumours of Pearson's sacking to be true. Fearing for the worst and history repeating, they came up with said expression.;)

I thank you for this excellent and elaborate post, I really do. BUT... here's where your theory has its biggest hole. Nobody knows or can know whether a change of manager or a "better" manager instead of Pearson could lead us to (automatic) promotion. It's all speculative. A "great" manager doesn't automatically guarantee success.

Anyway, I agree that we need to back the manager. And in this case, it's Nigel Pearson. Have some faith in the guy; albeit not being perfect, his previous tenures with us show signs of improvement.

Actually I meant the frequent assertion that NP will lead us to League One was stupid, the stupidest of many a boo-boy saying.

That's why I agreed that you were right, I can't see him getting us relegated, but now he is staying he can ill afford to start the season as the regular season ended, and he seriously needs to address the inconsistency.

Not having a go at individual's but this forum has descended into a them and us slagging match..

when I was very ill this forum was a distraction, and I used to enjoy the banter on here, it would be nice for all to move on, and get back to enjoying the forum.

But I thank you for a decent response, both have different opinions but didn't get into a slagging match ðŸ‘

Good post buddy, although no doubt I will be criticised for agreeing with you lol

I honestly think this forum is full of retards.

3 years. 1 promotion 2 playoffs where both defeats were down to one penalty.

In the year he wasn't with us he took Hull from a joke to a team with credentials and on which Bruce only had to add a little to see promotion.

At both Hull and Leicester he has slashed the wage bill whilst making improvements in terms of results.

Yes we had a bad run at the end but our league position was improved on last year with less money being spent, surely that shows good management not bad - it certainly would i a ny other industry.

With some high earners leaving and other lesser players leaving the club there's no reason to think he won't bring in what we need to see promotion in 2014.

To ignore all these clearly factual statements simply because the young team he has assembled choked halfway through the season and collectively lost form is madness.
