Unabomber Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Am I the only person who thinks spurs have spent poorly? I think they have too many players for the same positions, and they needed to buy another striker.
Jimothy Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Am I the only person who thinks spurs have spent poorly? No you're not. Spent a lot of money on some very good players but not making a great team.
chrishlcfc Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 This spurs game is definately reminding a bit of the city game yesterday especially the 1st half of our game, we dominated but just couldn't score. It's the same with Spurs today Krul has been amazing.
Fox92 Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Finished 0-1 then, didn't expect that result. No doubt the Spurs fans would have been showing their frustration, apparently some of them don't like their style of play at the minute.... I think they've got far too many good players for the same position as well, they do need another striker. Saldado is obviously a good player but hasn't produced that many goals for them yet.

I can't get me head around why an inform Jermaine Defoe doesn't get a starting place in league games.
Unabomber Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I can't get me head around why an inform Jermaine Defoe doesn't get a starting place in league games. They only play 1 up top and AVB is sticking with his signing.
Matt Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 G'Won Sunderland. Not really keen on Sunderland, but wouldn't mind them beating City.
Guest ttfn Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Spurs remind me of us under Sven - too many players in that squad. So difficult to build a team when you're making 3, 4, 5 changes every single week. Nobody can play themselves into form.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 So does AVB time at Spurs look bleak? They are currently a boring team that can't score!
Unabomber Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 So does AVB time at Spurs look bleak? They are currently a boring team that can't score! Absolutely not. I think the fact that Levy allowed him to spend all of the Bale money means that he will be there for the long term. They are still in Europe and only 5 points off of top as it stands. He just needs to work out his best 11 and stick with it for at least 5 games instead of changing his midfield every game!
Corky Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Ramires's dive was disgraceful, don't know how the referee fell for it.
Unabomber Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Ramires's dive was disgraceful, don't know how the referee fell for it. That was absolutely pathetic. I would like to see if he would have given it if it had been at the other end.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I do enjoy seeing Adam Johnson's fall from grace since leaving Man City. An attitude that's gone to his head
Unabomber Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I do enjoy seeing Adam Johnson's fall from grace since leaving Man City. An attitude that's gone to his head So many players get a big move and then think that they have made it and in the meantime forget how to play football. Adam Johnson and Ashley Young are prime examples.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Yet both started off very well at their new clubs
Leicesterpool Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 What's wrong with Man City away from home!? Credit to Poyet it seems he's opened something up at Sunderland!
Corky Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Four straight defeats for Man City at Sunderland. They'll be desperate for them to go down.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 So United v Arsenal, 2-1 United i think.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 I don't like Arsenal, so for once come on United. Then again i'm not on keen Moyes.
Stadt Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 A draw I reckon, a resolute defensive performance which Arsenal get frustrated with. I reckon 1-1.
Tom17LCFC Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Want Arsenal win and Ozil to score but also want RVP to score. 2-1 Arsenal fingers crossed, reckon it'll be a draw though.
