purpleronnie Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Is it coincidence that it wasn't on sky?
Haydos Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Lakaku on loan has to be one of the most peculiar decisions ever made, anyone but Mourinho and the manager would be getting hammered. Same situation with any young player at a big club. At the start of the season could you guarantee he'd be playing this well and able to lead the line for the full season? It just seems like your usual Captain Hindsight armchair fanning. They've got a club to run, just the same as we can't afford to keep Schlupp up front (I know it's a different kettle of fish in terms of their ability but you get the idea).
21st Century Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 It is quite remarkable how undervalued he seems to be at Chelsea though. He tore it up for West Brom last season, seems to be a natural successor to Drogba and looks to be the perfect type of player for the Premier League. There was even talk a couple of days ago about a part-exchange for Balotelli.
Guest ttfn Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I thought Lukaku was very poor before he scored. And I'm a big fan.
21st Century Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I thought Lukaku was very poor before he scored. And I'm a big fan. But to be able to play badly and still score two goals in a Merseyside derby would suggest you've got something about you. I assume Mourinho doesn't think he's ready for European football and wants more of a seamless transition between the style of play in the league and in Europe.
Tielemans63 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Big Dion showing his expertise on Final Score, just commented on how well Aaron Ramsey has done at Arsenal considering he's a young English player...and it's never easy for young English players at the Emirates.
kingfox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I thought Lukaku was very poor before he scored. And I'm a big fan. He is shit. But what makes him so good is his finishing, and his capabilities to run at players with pace and strength. However his lay-offs in particular are pretty shocking.
marko Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Look out for the Wes Brown red card on MOTD. I think it's quite possibly one of the worst decisions I've ever seen.

isaidno Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 If west ham play this formation every week they're going down
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 If west ham play this formation every week they're going down It is such a joke, 4 2 4 which bang average midfielders is not going to work.
Kitchandro Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 He got sent off for that Is the ref pissed? Deary me.

You couldn't guarantee it but you'd surely have him in the squad based on his performances for West Brom last season.
kingfox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Kevin Friend sent Brown off as well. Someone shoot his dog.
Jimothy Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Kevin Friend sent Brown off as well. Someone shoot his dog. As well? That's the Brown sending off in the gif you posted.
Corky Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Norwich v Palace West Ham v Fulham Palace v West Ham All being played in the next 10 days. Huge matches.
Kitchandro Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I fvcking hate Mark Hughes. How can he actually say that could possibly be a red card? Is he high? Every time he loses a match, he blames it on the referee. Every time without fail. He is parody of cvnt managers who are jut unreasonably biased and two-faced. Absolute willy puller.
ScouseFox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Mirallas' tackle is horrific. Deserved ten red cards let alone one. Absolutely horrendous. Can the FA nail him with retrospective action nowadays yeh? Although even a 3 match ban wouldn't be enough.

He's like the bloke before him, wants action for the diving and shirt-pulling yet ignoring or defending the violent, disgusting shit his team used to land on the opposition. If that had been Shawcross, Adam or any other Stoke player getting sent off for that they'd be writing to the FA or sending in videos.
Kitchandro Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 That wasn't even a foul. I'd argue it wasn't even a tackle. The bloke he was 'tackling' made no attempt to get the ball. One of the worst decisions I've ever seen.
kingfox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 As well? That's the Brown sending off in the gif you posted. I mean, it was Kevin Friend as well who sent him off. Because of course he lives in Leicester, & on good authority he has a dog. Sorry for the typing error.
kingfox Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 What did Kevin Friend & Artur Boruc sniff on Saturday morning. Day of terrible mistakes in Sport.
