separator Posted 18 June 2013 Posted 18 June 2013 Pearce contract not to be renewed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22956762
purpleronnie Posted 18 June 2013 Posted 18 June 2013 They should have a mass clear out, 'not so clever' trevor should take an extended holiday too....some say he's already been on a 10 year one.
Corky Posted 18 June 2013 Posted 18 June 2013 Too many mediocre men in power at the FA. A clear-out is a must, it's not totally Pearce's fault and the problems run far deeper.
Finnegan Posted 18 June 2013 Posted 18 June 2013 Spain 4-1. Thiago with all 4 including 2 pens. Isco got the second pen.
Finnegan Posted 18 June 2013 Posted 18 June 2013 Who cares about an under 21's tournament. Quite a lot of people. If you don't, don't read the thread. What a retarded post.

stix Posted 18 June 2013 Posted 18 June 2013 Who cares about an under 21's tournament. Well I do. Which is probably one more than the amount who care about the majority of the shit that comes out of your mouth. It was great when you fvcked off for abit.
MC Prussian Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Just seen the highlights of the Italy - Spain final. The Italian defense looked shaky to say the least and displayed horrendous positioning skills in parts, particularly for Thiago's second goal.
Ric Flair Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Please, please, please get Glen Hoddle in as replacement. He plays the football the right way and his work in recent years at his academy is very impressive and innovative. I know this'll be unpopular with what he said whilst England manager, I can't condone that and he is a strange old fruit but we need his coaching style at a younger level.
Corky Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Apparently, Michael Appleton is in the running to take over lol
Soar Fox Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Apparently, Michael Appleton is in the running to take over lol lol he just keeps on popping up everywhere. I'm intrigued to know what has he actually done as a manager for clubs to keep employing him?
Ric Flair Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Please don't give it Southgate either, he's another clueless neanderthal. Steve MacLaren would be a far better appointment, i'm not sure if he'd take the position but if he would then i'd consider him. He was obviously a disaster as the full England manager but his work with bringing through Middlesborough's academy players was very impressive and he did a lot of work at United at that level too.

Eh up big boy - how was the trip.... I don't think Schteeve is a bad shout either to be fair! Him or Paul Woodhouse?
ADK Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Quite a lot of people. If you don't, don't read the thread. What a retarded post. I'm just fed up of people using anything to bash the national side, it seems the new cool thing to be doing. U21's is a summer holiday tournament where the players won't be at 100% fitness and will do anything to avoid being injured. It dosn't have alot of bearing on how good the national squad is or will be in the future.
Ric Flair Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Eh up big boy - how was the trip.... I don't think Schteeve is a bad shout either to be fair! Him or Paul Woodhouse? It was diabolical pal, did £650 in 4 days! We were horrible. Woody knows his onions, get him in.
Corky Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 It should have though, that's the point. These players should be the future of the national team, yet they are nowhere near good enough, and it's tournament experience which could be crucial to their development.

Super_horns Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22986179 Are we looking for excuses already - surely any match before an international weekend is a risk?
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 21 June 2013 Posted 21 June 2013 It was diabolical pal, did £650 in 4 days! We were horrible. Woody knows his onions, get him in. Had a quiet one then really??.... Ashton used to do that on a Thursday before we left the village for town pal! Loved the buggle that boy! I see Sol Campbell being touted now, he is a weird, deep **** that man!
21st Century Fox Posted 22 August 2013 Posted 22 August 2013 Gareth Southgate named U21 Manager http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23804230 *Sigh* That'll help.
