Finnegan Posted 14 June 2013 Posted 14 June 2013 To step to Moose's defense, no, I've never been offended by his insults. I do find his obsession with homoeroticism both funny and a bit disconcerting but I think he's largely just playing on that these days. I'm still not entirely convinced he's not a devoutly liberal soul who's trolling with a deliberately over the top Tory persona. Someone like Daggers could have well written half of what he comes out with as a wind up. I find him infinitely more tolerable than FIF and flow (who are just simply unintelligent), both of whom are on ignore and - unlike Matt - I'm convinced he doesn't actually believe half the shit he comes out with. Oh and even more off topic but while we're all analyzing each other, can I go on record and say that I actually really like El Empty, he seems both a decent guy and genuinely hilarious. I hope my mocking of his conspiracy theories isn't taken too harshly, I do find him interesting.
Rincewind Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 One of the world''s great mysteries we may never find out.
lavrentis Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 I quite like Moose but I really don't know why? I think it is because he is brutally honest
DennisNedry Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 I have never: - Had a curry - Done any drugs/smoked a cigarette - Watched Fawlty Towers
sphericalfox Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 I have never: - Had a curry - Done any drugs/smoked a cigarette - Watched Fawlty Towers You should probably do all of those at once.
DennisNedry Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 You should probably do all of those at once. Sounds like a plan
Fox92 Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 I have never: - Watched Fawlty Towers You're missing out man! Fawlty Towers is my favourite comedy programme ever. You can pick up the whole two series for about £15 now, you'll enjoy it. 'Basil the rat' (which is the last episode), is my favourite. Fantastic. I do like John Cleese though, one of my heroes.
MPH Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 Can I copy and paste this into the "what grinds my gears" thread? Absolutely!

I have never: - Had a curry - Done any drugs/smoked a cigarette - Watched Fawlty Towers You should probably do all of those at once. And in this order: smoke your drug filled cigarette >> will lead to >> a strong need for a tasty curry >> will lead to >> lying incapacitated on the sofa watching Fawlty Towers and thinking that it is the funniest thing you have ever seen = Saturday Night

Renart Posted 13 October 2013 Author Posted 13 October 2013 I have never sang karaoke (this came up the other night) and people were surprised. I have an awful singing voice but they didn't get that at some point in my life I hadn't drunk enough for it to be something that I was keen on doing. It always seems like the same people who get involved in this. I remember some years ago when I worked behind the bar in the Marquis that we always had the same people coming in time-and-time again to sing the same songs - it baffled me. It seems that people get enjoyment out of it though (I'm not sure how).
Tielemans63 Posted 13 October 2013 Posted 13 October 2013 I've never watched or read any Harry Potter book or film. Not being a twat about it just really not interested at all.
