Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Yo. Full kilt, no-one argues with the guy with a dagger in his sock. Typo?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Actually my brother did.. He is one of those smarmy arrogant types... He was going for a chief engineer job within the cellular industry (Motorola...)well paid too. He turned up in long shorts and a t-shirt. And he was actually asked " errm.. do you mind telling us what you are doing?... Everyone else has dressed smart.." he just said that he was being realistic as this is what he was likely to wear every day to work as he would be based in an office with no public contact. I don't think they knew what to make of that! He got the job. Can I copy and paste this into the "what grinds my gears" thread?
RonnieTodger Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Been to Skegness. Lived in Leicester all my life!
purpleronnie Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Sex with anyone on Foxestalk Don't be so sure, you never know who's poking their goods through that glory hole.
MooseBreath Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I have never... understood Moosebreath's bitterness towards other posters that don't share his views. It's not that I'm bitter, far from it actually - most of my posts are written in a much more jovial tone than they often seem to be received, in which context I consider my ability to draw insults from all and sundry to be but a symptom of an as yet undefined talent, the prospect of profiting from which I find terribly exciting. No, I am not bitter. It is just that people are wrong, frequently, about a very wide range of subjects. Just like my mother was that day, when she got scared enough after a little confrontation with a couple of guys that were up to no good that she saw fit to pack me off to bel-air to live with my auntie and uncle.

sphericalfox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Bit like morrissey. Yeah but at least Morrissey has redeeming qualities even if he acts like a knob.

Well I'm sorry Mr Moose but who says they are definitively wrong? Sure, some people are factually incorrect about some things and I'm sure that also applies to you. Whilst I respect the views and opinions of others I do find that you come across as being in disagreement, to the point arrogantly insulting other posters, when their view on a subject doesn't concur with your own. I have no wish to be argumentative with you, it's how I percieve you to be from the posts of yours that I read. I have to say that I disagree with 99% of what you put but I don't raise issue or bad-mouth you or call you unpleasant names. I cite your rather childish insult that you have just made to another poster on the "questions" thread .
MooseBreath Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I cite your rather childish insult that you have just made to another poster on the "questions" thread . Hardly a childish insult, more of an intentionally terrible and light-hearted play on words. It would provide some degree of vindication to my earlier post if it turns out you've decided that was insulting without actually understanding the meaning, and if that is the case what a fine citation own goal! Regardless, I very much doubt the recipient found it offensive in any way, but if you want to step in and be offended on his behalf then by all means, step right up.

Well, to be honest, no I didn't refer back to anything you said regarding the recipient. It's simply that you are so often generally insulting to many other people on here that I assumed you were merely reverting to type. I'm not personally offended by anything you say to other people, I just find it childish and crass.
shen Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Im confused, have you been abroad on a school trip?.... if so and you didnt use a ship or a plane, what did you use... tardis? The train.. ?
stix Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 The train.. ? It was more a play on 'The Doctors' username me thinks.

Maybe if you used more smileys. There is also the fact you have a history of conflicts with Daggers, Nick, FIF, Spherical (or is that Flow Wolf) you have been banned at least 3 times, that I know of, due to your "posting style". Do you not think that possibly the problem is you and not everyone else?

You've cited Finnegan who I doubt has ever found any 'insults' I've given him offensive in the slightest and then the four biggest tossers on the forum. I'd be more worried if I didn't have a problem with those pricks. And btw I haven't been banned for well over a year. To their credit the mods allow personal opinions these days even if they're not popular.

You can have a difference of opinion, but you don't need to call them pricks, that is the "bitterness" that Parafox refers to.
