However, as previously stated Hull would never do business with us unless it suits them and b) does Pearson see Hobbs as very similar to Whitbread and therefore if he is to persevere with Whitbread it would be pointless bringing in a very similar defender?

Don't really get all the love in for St ledger really. Not as commanding or as good with the ball as the likes of Keane. When you get outpaced by Fryatt, totally destroyed by Iwelumo (admittedly 12 months ago), and have the passing ability of a one-legged giraffe, i fail to see how you are any more than 'average'.

Morgan was in a forest team that got to play offs, Whitbread in a norwich promotion side, keane man its youth, hobbs promotion with Hull. SSL was only bought because sven is mates with trapatoni who was Irelands manager. He is always veal for them too. He had an ok run in the team but has to many mistakes in him. Sick of hearing ppl harp on about him, its only because he's not in the side, if he was he'd be rubbish and ppl would slag him off.
