Ashley Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 @TransfersToBe: Karl Henry's move to Leicester City is looking more imminent by the day, both parties are keen on a move #Wolves #lcfc Is this account reliable?
Ric Flair Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 The sort of nasty bastard we might need. Nobody else agree?
Guest Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 The sort of nasty bastard we might need. Nobody else agree? I fear we'd literally be playing with 10 men more often than not given his record. My wolves supporting mates think he's a liability too to be honest.
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 He captained them in the Premier League, he cant be that bad. A tough tackling centre mid sounds decent to me
Ashley Posted 12 June 2013 Author Posted 12 June 2013 It might be the player we need, one thing that springs to mind though with Karl Henry is this. How it wasn't a red I'll never know.
Ashley Posted 12 June 2013 Author Posted 12 June 2013 Why did he only play 17 games last season? Probably due to suspension
dpjfox Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 he is the type of player we need but can he curb that bad behaviour?
TJB-fox Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 This transfer Twitter page sprouts so much bullshit its unbelievable, but could be true
goose2010 Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 was touted to play for England when Wolves were in the premier league. Would have him in the squad to be fair, think NP would sort him out a bit to be fair.
lcfcsnow Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 The sign of a clueless manager if this is the best we can muster up.
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 The sign of a clueless manager if this is the best we can muster up. HA HA ever an optimist
Babylon Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 The sign of a clueless manager if this is the best we can muster up. You do realise he hasn't signed don't you...
TJB-fox Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 The football league Twitter just said we're closing in on a deal for james perch
Simo86 Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 was touted to play for England when Wolves were in the premier league. Would have him in the squad to be fair, think NP would sort him out a bit to be fair. He's 30 though not 20. It would be hard to get him to change his poor discipline. I'm sure most of his managers have tried in the past.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 just what we need , a leader , someone to break legs in the middle of the park and lots of experiences . he could be our Shaun Derry .
Simo86 Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 just what we need , a leader , someone to break legs in the middle of the park and lots of experiences . he could be our Shaun Derry . or our Joey Barton..............
nickyboy Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 or our Joey Barton.............. I'm waiting for us to be linked to said twat Barton
Fox92 Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 Don't like Henry personally, but if we want a holding midfielder who will tackle, get stuck in and win the ball back then he is the man.
Ric Flair Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 I'd obviously much rather Doumbia and i'm proud of our disciplinary record under Pearson after the amount of needless red cards we had under Sven but we'd not get taken apart away from home in the midfield battle like we often do.
GingerrrFox Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 Say what you want about Karl Henry but every team needs a player that is prepared to be a bit nasty and put himself about in the middle of the park. He played well in the Prem and would definitely help us if he came here. Heard that Wolves were asking for too much for Doumbia.
