The thing that frustrates me more than anything with Drinkwater is how predictable he is. The amount of times he would take to long on the ball and then make a pass to the player who is surrounded really grated on me.

I will probably get laughed at but when Wellens was pulling the strings 2/3 seasons ago he looked a class above him.

DD is a decent all round player but others in the squad are as well but have outstanding attributes and of he's not willing to wait for his chance in the team he needs to be moved on

He is hard working but I wouldn't class him as a tough tackler and that is how I would define industrious so yep, in my opinion that statement is rubbish

Your opinion is based on rubbish - that's not what industrious means. Industrious just means hard working. Nothing to do with tackling. You'd still be industious if you just ran around at full pelt without ever putting a single tackle in.

I think we have to accept the fact that DD form did dip badly almost at the same time as the team and lets face it King and James did nothing to halt the slide 3 wins form 17 is relagation form.Is it possible that DD in form is more important to us than we think?

Possibly.

At the very least he's a good squad player!

I do prefer King and James though, even in our poor run those two shone for me

But our poor run started when king came back into the side!

Our poor run started when Nige put out a sh*t team against Huddersfield in the cup.

“@LCFCWorld: Rumour that Chris Baird is training with Leicester #LCFCâ€

He'd be a handy addition if true. Pretty versatile from what I've seen of him

UEFA Agent  lol

People jumped on the bandwagon, just because LCFC World tweeted it.

And of course LCFC World didn't say he got the rumour off one of the shittest "ITK's"

Posted

Interesting fact, the Twitter ITKs have a success rate of 0% where Leicester are concerned this season. SO STOP LISTENING TO THEM.

You find that interesting ? You need to get a life Mark

That we can't spend.

We have no money to spend till we ship out four or five players.

So twats on twitter link us to an 800k purchase lol lol lol

What if we finally got rid of Beckford this week.  Would that release enough funds?

The other side of the rumour is that we are in competition with Fulham.  While you'd think we couldn't compete with a Prem side, we allegedly beat Newcastle to Knockaert, didn't we? (There is the added "London attraction", though, this time.)

He's an alright player, but nothing special.

That's ok for the Championship, and it's all it takes to get out of the division - ask Palace, Blackpool, Reading etc

Yeah he's versatile, would be decent across the defense at this level, experienced. Good signing assuming he's still got the drive and the legs. As it's been said not a world beater but would be good for us on a one or two year.

"Although typically a centre-back, and often surplus to requirements behind the rarely injured pairing of Aaron Hughes and Brede Hangeland, manager Roy Hodgson brought out a versatility in Baird which made him indispensable for long periods at Fulham, where first he filled in very successfully at right-back when John Paintsil was injured, and then due to the injuries to Dickson Etuhu and Danny Murphy he was often used in a central midfield role during the 2009–10 season, returning to right-back when they regained fitness. His success at right-back also earned him a start in the 2010 UEFA Europa League Final against Atlético Madrid ahead of the fit-again Paintsil."
