_Fatboyslow_ Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Yes, I have a connection with someone at the club. You had better hope that Richard Davies fails to work who it is then as I can not see someone who would divulge such sensitive information being around for long and I don't see a lot of people knowing that these things happen. And as a foot note it also brings into question the credibility of the owners.
ozleicester Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 So have I - I'm not going to be the next manager either. Hmm, are you sure?.... coz i think i just saw you in Morrisons

TrentFox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 So every time a rumour starts the club should come out with a reply or make a weekly statement maybe. Why would they do that ? Why do things have to be so black or white for people on here ? It's a media-dependent industry. Having a positive and constructive use of the media channels is hardly revolutionary.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Np would be gone by now if we had have wanted him to go
Leicester_Numan Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 i feel the same.wouldnt have warnock at the top of my list but would have anyone to get rid of pearson..pearson is a clown who has failed to take the club up,blaimed everyone but himself and should be sacked..Where and when exactly did Pearson blame everybody but himself? The interviews I heard and read were all of him taking all the responsibility on himself. Disliking someone is not a reason to make things up to justify your dislike of them
MooseBreath Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Yes, I have a connection with someone at the club. You better join the queue m8 cos we already have an entire club's payroll worth of 'in the know' trolls on 'ere. They have a combined success rate on predictions of around 3% (to put that into context, in a controlled scientific test monkeys picking options at random got it right 34% of the time), so I wouldn't count on anyone believing a word you say anytime soon, and rightly so because like the others you probably know sweet fvck all.

Football, sorry but I can not agree with that and to a large degree it is the daily needs of the media industry that creates the issues and needs its constant supply of stories. The use of the media to prompt the club is one thing, to be at the beck and call of a bunch of jounrnos is something completely different and I for one don't believe that the club needs to response to the agenda being set by the media. That us not to say that the club is promoting itself in a acceptable manner and and times it commutations skills are totally unacceptable.

I'm a Leicester fan, and I'm 30 years old. I'd like to think I have better things to do than make up stories about the club on a fans forum to be honest. If other people do so, that's their prerogative. It's the same on Twitter. People lead very sad lives.
artursteppe Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Strange article where do they get their info from? It came from the Independent and I believe Neil Warnock writes a football column for the Independent. If that is true, there could be some credibility to it all. Bring it on. He is like Robby Savage to me, if he's ours we love him, if he is anyone else's we hate him. He wouldn't take any shit from anyone, just what we need - Gets teams promoted and that is what I want!!!!!!!
Ric Flair Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I think Warnock would get us promoted. We are a club that doesn't do things the conventional way, we have to do it the hard way. Whenever we bring in supposed good players, they never do well. We've seen it under the Mandaric era and now with the Thai's. Whenever there's been a popular choice for a new manager that's come in, they've always done badly. When Nigel was initially appointed people were appalled and he did well. When he came back most people were delighted and he's hardly been a great success. Warnock would cause outrage, disgust. It would be amazing and I actually think it'd work, in some warped way. He's like David Speedie, we hated the shit out of him and he didn't care. He got on with it and we ended up sniffing his 'arris. We protested to get O'Neill sacked, that went well. As a club we need to be embarrassed and proven wrong for us to achieve. It's the way we do it, we're the pits. Please get rid of Nigel and please bring in Colin. It'll be magical.
indierich06 Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 If people don't like the football under 'boring' Pearson, then they're going to be absolutely gutted by the stuff that Warnock dishes up. I'd hardly call it football personally. If we're going to change manager, I'd hope for a more inspired, progressive appointment than this. Then again, if we were going to change manager then I would've wanted it to be straight after the Watford game. If the Thais DO sack Pearson, then this is - yet again - another bafflingly poor decision from them. Why let a manager start his pre-season programme and then sack him when you've had the whole summer to do it? Ridiculous.

sov968-Foreverblue Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Oh dear Oh Dear....... Where are we going????? Roll on August 3rd. Then we can get behind who ever is in charge and enjoy a day out in Teeside.

To be fair i agree with that ... but the reason i think he's starting pre-season could be that the boardroom stuff isn't sorted yet .... and they are sorting out the hierarchy from the Top down (excuse the pun!)

I though the boardroom situation was sorted? Richards and Robinson were both starting their jobs on July 1st although there has been no official confirmation from the club.

Again ... no announcement from the club .... it really isn't great communication is it?? Why not announce a big boardroom change?? For me, and this is speculation, they're tying up other loose ends .... who knows what they are!?

Likewise they still haven't announced we are playing Monaco very poor communication.
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Nah... I give Pearson one more season. If we don't do a lot this coming season, I'd want him replaced with a younger, up and coming manager with fresh ideas and an emphasis on keeping it on the floor. Warnock can sod off.. Hiring him would be such a backwards step IMO. He'd probably sort out the wheat from the chaff in the team, so to speak, but there'd be no vision for the future in terms of club and player development. And you just KNOW he'd bring Clint Hill and Shaun Derry with him..

I'm not sure about that, if they were going to appoint him, they'd get him in nice and early and let him get on with his job. Our chances of promotion are going to be more affected by the manager and the team, rather than the board, so it's clearly more important to sort the footballing side out first.

Fans don't need to know everything that's happening at the club. I don't see why you'd benefit from such policy, other than being the first ITK before making it public yourself. Seriously, it's tedious. You don't have the right to know, I don't, we don't. As fans of the club, purchasing a ticket or season ticket doesn't give you the prerogative to be informed first-hand. Besides, there's so much small-time and unspectacular stuff going on behind the scenes that every sane person would probably roll their eyes in disbelief or yawn. Or both. You're obsessed. And your obsession points in an unhealthy direction.
