Trav Le Bleu Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 at least if Pearson gets sacked it'll get a bit happier round here until certain people find someone else to moan about. my moneys on Andy King, not good enough for us if we're going to be in the champions league in 2 seasons Warnock?
Lost Dream Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 Neil Warnock is a dreadful manager now and an egotistical twat who can't admit his own failings. If you want hoofball at the King Power, and a manager blaming and slating players because of his shit tactics and things not going HIS way by all means support him. He needs to retire, he won't get Leicester City promoted, he will simply drag the club into mid table/relegation level mediocrity. Sacking Pearson for this guy would be the biggest mistake the club has done in years.
sylofox Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 He could of made the story believable and said we had lined up Sir Alex.
Lost Dream Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 In all honesty, at this point it's best for the fans to get behind Pearson. If the owners want to get someone else in, they have to do it soonish, getting a new manager at the start of the season or during it even would mess things up. A club aiming for promotion needs stability and an air of positivity. You never know, Pearson may of learnt from his mistakes last season. I think the club was just unlucky last season, after displaying automatic promotion form, things just fell apart. I don't see why he can't get the club back in the mix again.
Legend_in_blue Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 The club needs to come out and say something otherwise we'll be reading similar stories like this until the silence is broken. The club is at fault for staying silent. The only word I've heard is the number of season tickets we've sold - more interested in fleecing tickets out and taking peoples money than actually interested in telling us the fans what this season is all about. Silence is most definitely not golden in this situation.

Welcome to Foxestalk Nigel, we knew you would sign up eventually
AnotherShitSeason Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 i feel the same.wouldnt have warnock at the top of my list but would have anyone to get rid of pearson..pearson is a clown who has failed to take the club up,blaimed everyone but himself and should be sacked.. Another visionary joins.
MonarchFox Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 There is some truth in this story, although it is out of date. There we're some initial enquiries around Jan/Feb time for the start of this season. A week later Warnock confirmed he was leaving Leeds at the end of the season which made me think there was more to it. I posted on here at the time but got modded. I don't think it went any further than the initial enquiry. Source was a footie agent we we're working for at the time..
5waller5 Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 I beg to differ. If people criticise Pearson's football then they've seen nothing yet, That's very true .... I was thinking of the off-pitch rather than on-pitch!!
Wymsey Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 It seems that after every football period, we are linked with Colin. It's just getting depressing now.
Tielemans63 Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 No human being who has an actual beak should be trusted with anything. He's clearly part bird and I hate birds.

Silence is most definitely not golden in this situation. Why?? I don't see why the club have to say anything? Pearson is the manager, why do they need to make a statement? Just because lazy journos and posters in here are always talking about it... It's certainly not the clubs fault that they have said nothing.

Saxondale Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 So our solution to the need to be prudent with money is to put a Yorkshireman in charge? Makes sense. Shame he's a complete tit.
Father Ted Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Are people forgetting that this monghole wanted OUR club dead? He can get fvcked. I PROMISE to everybody who said that I won't boycott that I will. Football is dying if things like this are allowed to happen. In other countries players/managers don't dare move to rival clubs in case they get shot and the clubs don't sign them out of loyalty to their fans. If a move like this was to happen, it would show that the board has no respect whatsoever for the fans, the people who allow this club to SURVIVE. **** OFF WARNOCK
Harry - LCFC Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I hate Warnock with a passion but if it means Pearson getting sacked then im all for it. Anything to get that twat out of our club!!!! Really? I mean really? How about I hop into the hot seat then? Can only be a good thing as it means Nigel won't be manager! It's almost as if you think Pearson is the worst possible manager for our club, baffling viewpoint to hold. I know you aren't at all happy with 6th spot but it's not the horrendous outcome you make it out to be.
ealingfox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Not this much smoke- Redknapp, Lennon- our owners approached both. Fact I hope you know putting 'Fact' at the end of the sentence doesn't make the statement any less bullshitting than it would be without, Fvcking hate people doing that. Not aimed at this comment in particular but a read through this thread is telling me this place has become fvcking ridiculous. See you all after York or Monaco, whichever I decide to go along to.
LanguedocFox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 This post from a Leeds United fanzine blog says it all: http://www.thesquareball.net/2013/07/02/neil-warnock-a-summary-from-opposite-land/ How anyone could imagine Walnut as a manager at City is beyond me.

If the club came out to say something everytime another vacuous and ficticious story came out on this site, they'd never have time to run their Kingpower business!
TrentFox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 If the club came out to say something everytime another vacuous and ficticious story came out on this site, they'd never have time to run their Kingpower business!Yes they would. It happens 4 or 5 times a year and requires no more than an hour of time to draft, circulate and present to assorted media. That's hardly going to cause meltdown of day-to-day logistics. In a world where there has never been more communication, not communicating is not an option. Jeez - there are people at organisations a fraction of City's size who have that as their specific role. Do we not ?
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 The club needs to come out and say something otherwise we'll be reading similar stories like this until the silence is broken. . So every time a rumour starts the club should come out with a reply or make a weekly statement maybe.

_Fatboyslow_ Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 But I know it's fact. So why shouldn't I put it? I for one find this statement quite interesting as it shows that you must have some first class connections either at the club or the world of football/media. I do hope that these said connections don't mind you telling the world these things
